To be honest its the best of a bad bunch for the 32 counties. Even if it was Amhrán na bhFiann, I doubt many Irish born players know all the words in Irish let alone Aki, Gibson-Park and Lowe

Nearly all do as evidenced at the 6N.

I've little sympathy for the Ulster boys acting the ballbag.

Tommy Bowe is from the South so he'd have been singing it with his chest.

Henderson, Best and the 6 county Ulster ones can suck it up

When do Ulster players 'act the ballbags' over Soldiers Song? lol We're one team but I have to be honest, I have zero idea where you got that from but I'm happy to be corrected if I'm wrong.

I'm starting to think it's written in the stars. I can see it now.

Ireland, finally, finally, they're going to get to a semi final of the world cup. Mass celebrations. Everywhere.

Only to get knocked out by Warren fvcking Gatland.

I reckon that’s Scotland’s huff and puff for most of the first half done now

I dont want to jinx it but I thought it would be pretty even until the replacements come on around the 60th minute and we would pull away from Scotland. If we stay ahead at HT or even stay only a score behind we should win.

Scotland must be the most frustrating team to follow. Lots of easy segments of easy on the eye play but zero points from 3 penalties and all that possession. Our defence is sold but they just cant find the killer break or pass when it matters against the top teams.

Also, I think we got lucky with the 50-22 Finn Russell kick than looks to be just touched out.

Happy to get this wrong in this half

By not singing amhran na bhfiann.

I know we're one team but as a six county person it's hard to take given the PUL attitude here to ANYTHING irish

Yeah but sometimes players just dont sing their own anthem for whatever reason.

I'm happy to agree to disagree and I do see your point. Anyway, we're looking sexy on the pitch so let the good times roll for Irish Rugby, we dont know how long they'll last :scarf:

Think the reason is fairly obvious in this instance.

That they love the Brits lol

Blue 23 Oli Smith, just let the rest of Scotland down,in front of all angled World cameras. Going in for a dangerous trip, that

even at football if he had made proper contact, would of put the player out for a long while…

Again hard Scottish voices just petulant niggling school boys for  indisciplined players…

And I wanted to see that other Scotland…& welcomed that ball play….
