If you're Wales you're thinking its probably Argentina in the quarters which Wales currently have the edge on so far from matches in this WC.

Then you're thinking its only 1 game to reach the final, could easily catch the likely semi finalists Ireland or NZ on an off day.

Wales have so totally dominated the scrum it has been a defining factor..

Always been their weak point.  I still smile thinking back to 2005 when the ref made the scrums uncontested as "they were getting hurt" against England.

You need to put that bottle down now  …..

I am of course only joking.

But I would make us favourites on current form to beat Argentina. If we get to our third semi final in four world cups (if my count is right?) I'd consider that considerably impressive given our form over the last eighteen months.

People under estimated us massively really. Outside of Wales I don't think people really quite appreciated how bad Wayne Pivac was for us in the same way I don't think people outside Leicester still fully understand the extent to which Rodgers deserves the blame for our relegation.

I absolutely love Pivac as a Scarlets fan for what he gave to us but there's no getting away from it he was dreadful for Wales and even then we still won a Six Nations that could have been a Grand Slam if not for over time in Paris.

We've always had the players it's just the coaching and strategy and man management all went way out the window. Now old faithful is back and he's recruited not only a new excellent defence coach to replace Shaun but he's also added maybe the best attack coach he's worked with to date. We're honestly a good side.

I'm irritated that we had the brain fart ten minutes we did against Fiji where we gave them two tries because honestly without that we'd have hammered them comfortably and nobody would have been moaning about the ref.

Yes, Australia are awful but we were absolutely superb today. One of the best defensive performances anyone's put in in this world cup.
