If it's so common, why don't we see a repeat of that goal every week? Because keepers don't act like they're in the grand national galloping to the back post.

because not every team has players marking thin air, coming off the post for no reason, and general variability in delivery and players heading. Stolarcyk has committed a lot of errors this season, his positioning for that wasn't one of them

Let me put this in terms you might understand.

Ball go high in sky.

Player no able to head ball hard because ball high.

Goalkeeper no need worry hard shot.

Goalkeeper better staying more central.

Goalkeeper able react obvious looped header, or weak front post header.

Better?

I will leave it there safe in the knowledge that your an armchair coach

Respectfully, I played the position. Not to a professional level, but half decent. Goalkeeping will never be understood properly by those that haven't played it. The footwork, for starters, was amateurish. Totally committed himself.

I’ve obviously spent to long on a football pitch instead of in the classroom

respectfully, so did I. the attempt at a dive is feeble, partly because he's so flat footed, but the positioning wasn't the problem

SW keeper had a blinder today and if there is any money in the kitty next year he should be on the purchase list

Based on one performance against a team that has consistently proven to be shit? What could go wrong.

He's emblematic of the poor, naive leadership, thinking he's good enough and not looking to replace him, or Mads for that matter when he was sold. He's poor and not good enough, but the same could be said of so many of our squad.

Saw his interview after the game.  Said a lot of good things about not giving up, fighting, having spirit, cutting out mistakes.  His face though... told a different story - he's utterly lost and not even he believed a word that he said.

Did his captain, or vice captain, or one of the 'senior' pros come out?

I'm sure you would be as shocked as I was to find that they were MIA.

I’m not convinced he’s a bad keeper, he went from some appearances in league 2 to playing in our disastrous Premier league side, and then into this even worse team. A changing room full of players who couldn’t give a fvck, shite managers, and defenders who can’t do the basics.

In the last few years this club is where careers go to die.

Polish national team has seven goalkeepers that have either played or have practiced with it the last two-three years. He is not one of them. This tells you how they rate him over in Poland.

There are people on this forum that blame Stolarcyzk for their tax returns.
