Why isn’t the Italian stallion starting games? Surely he’s fit enough?

Think it's a case of understanding the system and maybe match fitness , think he will be starting soon

Parts of Rotherham’s game plan today were tactically spot on today. Wonder how many more will go direct and attack Mavididi too / our left wing

Their right back absolutely dominated him today. I've liked what I've seen from Mavididi, but I thought he was really poor today. Still think he'll prove a decent signing.

Leicester win & Brendan getting absolute pelters on Twitter from Celtic fans. Happy Bank Holiday everyone

Lol...

We are looking for (even more) reasons to love Enzo.

Celtic fans just itching for (even more) reasons to hate the fraud!

You won't have long to wait bhoys (and ghirls).

Thought we were piss poor. Didn’t keep the ball anywhere near as good as we have. Moments we were outbattled. Their press at times was poor and we didn’t move the ball well enough. Felt it was very lazy all around. Thankfully their legs went - particularly their best player at right back. McAteer played like one of the more senior players.

Did mention in the pre match thread from their highlights of other games, RovRum have an issue at left back

That was a bit of luck, nobody expected that to happen.

Frustrating game because when we actually got the ball down and played we caused them issues but just too many off it today. Wilf, KDH, Kel and Stephy the main culprits.

The game management after we scored was outstanding.

Not one single player at any point so far this season has been 'woeful' or 'embarrassingly bad'.  Not one.

When you win every game, I can’t doubt that is the truth.

today we had 62.3% possession and completed 487 out of 560 passes (87%)

against cov: it was 65% and 571/642 89%

against huddersfield: 69.4% and 490/577 85%

against cardiff: 65.3% 580/640 91%

If you think that is a major drop off in quality then  you need to step back and have a think about what is reasonable - by any standard we have been both relatively consistent and generally excellent.

And yet Doyle and Mavididi led the team in tackles, so they couldn't have been completely inept.

Keeping the ball isn’t just passing though is it? Can complete a pass but then when either Wilf, KDH or Kel run straight into a Rotherham player or take a shit touch when running with the ball and lose it. Did loads of that today.

The game played out like our previous ones, played some good football but also played some absolute dross. For large parts it looked like Rodgers was still our manager, with the slow sideways passing.

Again, did you even watch? They constantly targeted Doyle aerially and he struggled at bit, apart from that he was fantastic.

There's been some sub-par stuff and some games where players have struggled, but, yeah, you don't win your first four games of a season, conceding just 3 goals and scoring almost 2 per game with players putting in woeful performances.

Just not true is it?

There were times in the early years of rodgers where we passed the opponents to the point that they couldn’t stay with us in the last twenty five minutes

In the latter years of rodgers the passing became stale and the opponents weren’t moved around - we gained no advantage by playing keep ball

Exactly I think Kel got dragged off when he did today - gave up the ball far too easy which led to a Rotherham counter attack.

We will know how good we really are when we have Norwich and Southampton back to back. I actually didn’t think they created any golden chances really. All the other games, teams have created clear chances whereas Rotherham for all their effort didn’t create much.

Are we placing that statistic in the context that Mavididi attempted the most tackles (8) of the Leicester team today?

Or that Doyle made five fouls on opposition?

Kel was absolutely garbage today, sad way to go out if that was his last game.

Him all over today - brilliant cross, superb feint to give Mavididi his chance before half time but then moments where he’s losing the ball or over complicating a pass

Besides obviously the beautiful pass that setup the first goal.

Yeah true, forgot about that.

Kel was garbage today apart from the cross for the 1st goal.
