I agree... he would be expected to be interested in their job...  keeping it quiet would have been wiser imo

If Enzo is confident in his ability he wouldn’t be ‘super keen’ to go to Chelsea, He’d realise that he had a project at Leicester and he’d be super keen to finish that!
 

Every manager that Chelsea’s owners appoint end up leaving acrimoniously after no more than a year, even if they win a major trophy like Tuchel.

We’d do that to show there’s stability at the club going into a new season. It’s done all the time.

 

You’ll probably only read about the big 6 managers as everything else will only make regional news, but this season alone I remember reading postegogelu ( sp?!) denying Liverpool links and arteta denying Barcelona links..

Of course he would go let's not disillusion ourselves, Chelsea are still a big 6 club with unlimited funds for now, the salary will be ridiculous. No brainer for enzo

I've been a leicester fan my whole life and if I was in Enzo's shoes I'd go there instantly. If he had confidence in his ability he would think he might be the manager who actually does the business there and if not he will get a huge payout and probably still be able to get a bigger job than he would as the leicester manager

This might sound a bit far fetched - I work for a company who have employees based in the Falkland Islands. Recently Graham Potter visited as he has family there. Whilst there he did a talk on Leadership for the British Military based there. The talk he gave was very open, honest and frank, particularly about his time at Chelsea but also on where he wants to go next, questions were posed to him about Man United etc. His reply was straight up, he’s applying for Southgate’s job after the Euro’s. He didn’t elaborate further on the what ifs should that not come to fruition. Would we want someone in place before then if we are looking for a new Manager?

I’ve been a Leicester fan my whole life and if I was in Enzo’s shoes I wouldn’t go there instantly. I certainly wouldn’t be drip feeding through Romano that I was ‘super keen.’ Have some class Enzo ffs. I’d expect a bit of loyalty considering he was plucked from a coaching role after failing badly in his first managerial role. If he does go, I hope he fails, mainly because other than 2015/16 Chelsea have classlessly asset stripped us, tapping up Chilwell mid season, encouraging Fofana to down tools and have generally lived up to all the negative characteristics that the big 6 get criticised for.

Fofana did the exact same thing to St Etienne when wanting to move to us and we didn’t complain then did we…  it’s also a bit naive to think those that works for us don’t ‘ have a word in a players ear’ when we are interested  in players..  we all do it and we can’t complain when it’s suddenly done to us..

To be fair it wasn't exactly difficult to work out. He rejected Sevilla quick enough. 

 

If he doesn't get this job, he's going to be linked with anything that comes up in the first few months of the season.

 

Combined with the fact I have no faith in the philosophy, I'd rather he went now to give us the best chance of staying up.

We’ve had multiple players asset stripped by Chelsea and now potentially a manager and a coaching squad. We didn’t get Fofana to revolt against St Etienne, Chelsea very publicly courted him and thus encouraged his behaviour. Which club have used Luke Chelsea have used us over the last decade then?

that last sentence doesn’t make any sense but you’re a bit silly if you don’t think all clubs don’t do it…
