You know what that’s one thing I bastard forgot. I sit in G1 but I’m all the way near the top so as soon as it hit 90 mins I left because I was gagging for a piss, completely forgetting the fact that Big Nige and his pearly whites would get a reception at the end. Gutted.

The club should have planned it better. A tannoy message beforehand asking fans to stick around afterwards to show their appreciation. They could have given King his award on the pitch with the Birch, would only have taken a few minutes.

Ben Foster podcast with Tom Cleverley 11 minutes in waxing lyrical about Pearson

Both say he was second to Ferguson in terms of aura he commanded at club he was at.

Biggest injustice in football is some see him as only a top championship manager. The clowns at 2nd tier podcast had him 23rd best manager in the league ffs.

What he did for our club is one of the greatest managerial achievements this century. It’s incomprensible how impressive it was

Even players he binned off speak highly of him

Have been told that the nerves in both of his legs, since knee operation, are struggling to send signals to his brain - hence having serious issues with walking (not just his back problem).

Hopefully it can be treated.

Even Matt Mills seemed to enjoy being head-butted by him...

I’m indifferent to Nige but always good to hear players singing his praises.

I thought you adored Nige?? 😳

So with his having been sacked last w/end then the Bristol City hierachy presumably disapproved of Pearson "callling them out" for their general lack of team investment and not replacing their best players they sold in the summer then? Not sure if this topic is in another thread (probably!) but if not them I'm surprised it hasn't got more of a mention on Foxes Talk.

Probably best he got out of Bristol City and focussed on his health.

Get well soon King.

Nigel should open a pub and call it The Pearson. Get a log burner, some decent ales on, resident dog, pies on a Thursday. He would make a ****ing killing.

I wonder if he'll carry on in management until he's Warnock's or Hodgson's age?! - mid 70s?! - or indeed turn his hand to opening up his own watering hole befor long instead?!!
