Bloody hell @Daggers fancy losing to barwell 🙈😂

presume there was a lot of Kettering fans there?

About 250.

It was poor, really poor. They pressed quickly and we didn't look bothered. So much so that you'd question the betting habits of a couple of them. Passing was abysmal too. I could moan about the ref and one of the linos - but when we cared so little then what's the point?

Still, a cracking chippy tea.

Not bad for a Monday night. Bet you’d of took 7/800 on a Saturday there. To be fair I don’t know much just look out for there results as Leicester based side. Sure you’ll still go up.

some decent chippys round there 😊

A Saturday would've meant I could have sampled the clubhouse as the wife would've driven - that've improved the experience immeasurably...especially when the fight kicked off - and not a single player got booked lol

We now have no keepers. Dan got injured before the cup match, Jason went off after conceeding a pathetic ball dribbling into the net then spent the walk around the pitch throwing up. We'll not be getting promoted without a keeper.

It was also great that in a day and age where you can't take a bottle of water into a match because of the danger it poses - Barwell have held a collection so you can make your feelings known to the lino...

Might nip down for the first time this season and see how bad they are lol

Can't say I'm too excited about watching a team who lost to Sandiacre

Agree entirely. It makes what happened in the Summer seem worse than ever, especially when you see all the excitement around Harborough & Kettering at the present time. So very sad that we'll probably not see that level of football for years, if ever

In two weeks time Boro's last fixture before xmas is away to Birstall United, what's that ground and area like?

Birstall is a pleasant suburb of Leicester. Bit of a high street. Three pubs(although one has a rep).

Ground is good for the level. Clubhouse, three or four stands but it's hardly massive.

It's been announced 5 hours before kick off, journey is just over an hour, absolutely fine to give the game as much chance as possible. Nobody will have set off and it's still early enough for the men to be dragged into christmas shopping.

I'm sure they'll make an announcement about refunds and new dates soon enough.

Literally done it by the book. I think you're being incredibly unfair here lol

Still not responded to my email asking for the ticket to be refunded - let alone refund the ticket.

They’ve had a whole week to sort this, is it ok to really dislike Banbury now?

If you've not had a reply/action by tomorrow morning then I'll fully support MEGA DISLIKING Banbury :D

It is pretty poor, I feel like they should have just automatically refunded all purchases and then if you want to go again you can buy tickets again when it's rescheduled.

At some point the volunteer excuse runs out and it starts feeling like a tactic to keep people's money.

A lot of clubs seem to put in place some advances ticketing/booking systems they don’t fully understand/have the mean to operate fully, and in the case of Banbury it seems to come down to either being unable or being unwilling to deal with the unpleasant elements of their supporter base.
