Taylor on a free would be alright as backup. Although saying that is giving me very Bertrand vibes 🤢

THB was one of the best centre backs in championship last season.. 20 million represents excellent value

Disagree, he wasn't very good. He was the season before though but enough to question £20m.

I'd agree both Leeds CB were as good or better, Ampadu got in the team of the season and only cost 7m similar age to TBH.

 

They have also just got Rodon for 10m as part Gray to Leeds deal.

 

I like TBH but 20m for a championship CB is a lot.

 

Makes he the 50th most expensive CB signing in PL history.

What is surprising about this is that there are 49 centres backs signed in the premier league for more than that! Is that really true?

Both very very good deals! Ipswich too with Johnson and Hutchinson.

 

It's like the club is content with tanking completely and finishing rock bottom. For a team that won the championship, it's the lowest fans of any of these 3 teams will feel.
