From the little I’ve seen of him he looks very promising. Still very young so has potential to improve further.

Lets get him over the line and then we can focus on 2 x centre mids, a striker and versatile attacker (Ayew 👀

First game as it stands

Daka

Mavididi asprilla fatawu

Winks Ndidi

Kristiansen okoli coady pereira

Mads

In possesion

Daka

Kristiansen mavididi asprilla fatawu

Winks ndidi

Okoli coady pereira

Mads

This doesn't get the best out of pereira or ndidi but that's our best attack

Option of either. He could rotate with Fatawu or play centrally.

Didn’t realise he had played around 40% of the time as an AM, he would definitely add the flexibility we need for that.

Juries out as to his output for goals and assists after losing KDH but he’s on an upward trajectory. Right time to buy him.

Doesn't he play a similar role?

He’s a right sided attacker, that has played a fair amount as number 10.

Truth is, we think Alves is a 10, but he’s hardly played at first team level, so it’s. Hard to compare tbh

This is the kind of deal that makes perfect sense for us. Almost all outcomes are positive.  If he's great and we get relegated, we have a Premier league standard player in the championship, or we sell for a profit.  If he's good and we survive, everyone wins.  If he's not up to it and we go down, he has performed well at championship level so he's good enough for our following season.  If he's not great and we survive, we don't stress it and we can choose to persevere or if we want to part ways we can at least recoup half the fee selling him to Leeds for their next promotion push.

I would be very surprised if Alves’ future in the pro game isn’t as a left winger. He needs a loan of full season development in the championship prior to us thinking about him being in the squad imo.

Because we probably don't have the money to buy a host of players.

We probably need 2 x ACM and a Back up winger and a Foward.

We probably can't afford 4 players, so having 1 who can play two roles is helpful.

It's unlikely that we get an ACM on top of this guy. It will be one or the other and if I had to choose i would pick a natural ACM rather than a player who's more natural on the wing.

Is this the guy who kicked the advertising board at Newcastle? If so, don’t need bad eggs like this

That was his Grandad. The most edgy this guy has got is when he once stared at a corner flag after missing a sitter.

Can’t find to see we have just been used by his agent in the media to get a bit more money out of Rennes

It's the Leicester way
