Steve Cooper looking for attacking additions

 

Leicester have explored a loan deal for Atalanta striker Bilal Toure to bolster Steve Cooper’s attack before the start of the club’s return to the Premier League.

 

Cooper has been looking for a No 9 to lead his attack and has looked at Toure, 22, as an option. The Mali striker was not a regular starter in Serie A last season, having caught the eye with Almeria in the previous campaign where he scored seven goals in 15 starts in La Liga.

 

Facundo Buonanotte has undergone a medical with Leicester ahead of a loan move from Brighton for the season.

There's quite a bit of interest in him, all the usual Prem clubs and Stuttgart. 

 

Atalanta paid about 30m all in for him, though. His book value will be massive, it'd take a big bid for them to even make profit. 

 

They'd have to think he's pretty shit, which is worrying, to want to cash in for only a nominal profit or breaking even.

Worth noting Atalanta have just signed Retegui, alongside their other attackers Toure becomes the youngest and has played unfortunately little for them. Makes sense they would allow him to leave at least on loan.

They’ve just lost their striker to an ACL injury as well, admittedly they’ve got another striker in but you’d think they’d want to keep him till the other one is back.

Lookman mostly plays through the middle for them as well

We are not skint. However we are restricted in what we can spend because of PSR. We’re also likely struggling to sign players because of the looming points deduction. We were always going to be making liberal use of the loan market this summer.

does anyone know how many we can have in total from prem and abroad- the 2 is from prem isnt it? or is that in total- if its in total we are screwed
