The thing is that that was us.

Now agents know they have enormous amounts of money, will need to replace those assets and this makes them more likely to overreach themselves. This is how we went from being touted as the best run club in English football to the basket case we are now. One bad transfer window is all it takes.

I suspect the long-term future is more Crystal Palace than Aston Villa for them.

Sadly we have had about 6 bad transfer windows since we won the league, a brief Gilmour during Puel, then back to it. We have overpaid for mediocre at best. We ve spent 66 million this season, on what?

Could be the most anti-climatic season ever with the title and all relegation places decided with weeks to go.

Premier League has gone in my opinion, its on the decline.

I don’t see us beating either of them. For me, although the points tally does not reflect it, we are comfortably the worst team in the Prem sadly.

I do think so also. But we love a paper over the cracks fluke so I fully anticipate it.

You don't want to lose big challenges from the game but he knows full well what he's doing with that follow through. How they haven't over turned that!

Even VAR think it's not enough to overturn. Madness.

Is there anyone who's actually played the game in charge of VAR?, surely anyone who's played the game knows that's a red.

Particularly when you consider some of the red cards given out by VAR .

Played the ball apparently so ok :

“Premier League Match Centre on X: "The referee’s call of yellow card for a reckless foul by Tarkowski was checked by the VAR, with contact on the follow through after Tarkowski had played the ball deemed to be reckless.”

Classic case of not wanting to be seen making an early decision in a big game ?

Probably.
