If this team has anything about them then a win at Forest would at least be some kind of gift to the shower they have been all season

It would be extremely funny if that was the game we picked out as the one decent performance of the season to **** up their first decent season since John Major was in Number 10.

I'm sure I saw Wes Morgan saying that they didn't see the run-in as too difficult and imply that they saw UCL qualification as all but done.

It was an attitude that struck me as dangerous and surprising given his experiences here where we simply could not, and did not, let up all season in 2016 despite being in a far, far stronger position. Not to mention being part of a squad that bottled UCL qualification twice because they did have a wobble.

It might just be the arrogance and entitlement you'd expect from that club, but it's a very dangerous attitude. Especially if the pressure is on after this weekend.

Yeah strange attitude to have considering they haven’t won anything or Finished anywhere great in how ever long. They have Everton Chelsea and Brentford and us at home ( i doubt we get anything ) but the other 3 are all capable of turning up and getting something. West Ham palace and spurs away again all capable of turning them over especially at their own grounds .

If we did win there and they did fail to qualify for champs league they shouldn’t be allowed to enter any competition for being to shite to beat us and we should never let them forget it as they wouldn’t any one else 😂

What is our furthest ever gap to safety at the end of a season (obviously with points adjusted)? Must be on for the record here.

Honestly, any of them are capable of getting someone. No pressure on Everton or Brentford means they can play with the freedom that Forest can't. Everton have been transformed by David Moyes. Chelsea are still dangerous if they turn up and have been here before, so know what mentality is needed.

I remember several players from 2016 saying that the hardest thing about our run-in wasn't teams raising their game for us so much as the crippling fear of failure or being the one who cost us the title - which might partially explain why Vardy went so apeshit at Jon Moss when he got sent off against West Ham. The mental strain was massive.

For those hoping for Forest missing out on top 5 I wouldn't get your hopes up. This is probably the most difficult match in this run and their run in is quite favourable after this match, the type of matches you think could be tricky but they'll been winning all season.

Arteta waving the white flag in the title race.  I know he has an important mid week game, but starting Sterling should be made a criminal offence.

Behave man. You haven't been in a title race for months.

Nobody has.

Liverpool had this wrapped up at Christmas and that's being kind.

There's been only one title winner this year since basically September, anything else is just Sky Sports feeding you a lie to keep you interested or standard Arsenal Fan TV delusion.

A huge thing is mentality now. Nobody expected us to go to Bournemouth, who got relegated that season, and get spanked 4-1. Or lose the last two games of the season to finish 5th after looking nailed-on to qualify almost all season.

Having seen the scores, am I right in thinking it will be Liverpool game that sends us down?

That weekend. Assuming we get twatted by Newcastle Monday night (which, lets be honest, we will), we'll be 15 behind with 7 to play. If we lose to Brighton and Wolves beat spurs we'll be 18 behind with 18 to play for, and with our goal difference we might as well be down mathematically then, but the earliest it can be impossible to reach Wolves points tally is Easter weekend, where Wolves play Man Utd just before we play Liverpool.

Just realised that if scores stay like this that Newcastle have two games in hand and are seven behind Forest. Given that they will definitely win on Monday night and their next game after that is Man United at home, they'll be putting pressure on. The fourth and fifth UCL spots could be tighter than a smackhead's belt.

Remember when everyone was saying Youri was rubbish and finished.

On course for a second successive top 4-5 finish with Villa and will play against PSG in the qtrs of the Champion League next week.
