They punish dangerous 2 footed tackles which don't connect, intent to harm or not. He's swung an elbow full force, head height into where he knows an opposing player is out of anger - if that connects it's broken cheekbone/jaw/teeth/eye socket - absolutely unacceptable. Egregiously endangering an opponent.

Seems it’s ok if there is no contact .

I can't recall a tackle that hasn't connected being punished?

Anyway I'm just repeating the laws of the game according to Clattenberg, I agree with you it was wild.

Surely that should be a 2nd yellow for Hutchinson then?

probably should be booked but i suspect the ref gave it for handball rather than the dive

There has certainly been some.

For me Pedro should be sent off, the intent in there alone is enough for me.

I recall Scholes famously taking a swing, completely missing and getting his marching orders many moons ago.

From the PLs own guidance, violent conduct includes: use or attempt to use excessive force or brutality against an opponent, teammate, team official, match official, spectator or any other person, regardless of whether contact is made

What a surprise clattenberg was talking shite.  Clear attempt use excessive force.

I think we are the worst team in the league

I think we are slightly better then Ipswich and Southampton tbf, but I do think there is a massive gap above the bottom 3, we are not premier league quality

Why are we in the premier league then if we’re not premier league quality? It’s a stupid phrase that needs to stop. We lack some depth and quality.

tbf whatever qualities they are i cant see them

cos they are losing by just the 1?

Ipswich are defending well. Trying to score, breaking with pace, playing fast football, showing some aggression, showing some fight. Not showing too much respect to a big 6 team. Not giving away corners all the time. We aren’t seeing much of this from LCFC at the moment.

Have they even had an actual shot yet?
