From BBC

Of all Premier League fixtures to have been played at least 30 times, Leicester against Tottenham has the highest goals-per-game average (3.8 - 128 goals in 34 games).

There have been 28 goals scored in the past five meetings between the sides alone (5.6 per game).

Plenty of thrashings for us in the process...

I wonder how my Kane got out of those 28?

Some great matches off the top of my head:

3-1 in 94 - maybe the first Leicester game I can remember watching, albeit on TV.

2-1 away in 96

3-0 in 97 - absolutely destroyed them just after death of Diana.

2-1 in 98 - two superb goals.

3-2 away in 99

4-4 away in 2004

3-4 away in 2015

1-1 in 2015 and Mahrez's ripper

The 1-0 in 2016, obviously

3-4 away in 2018

4-1 in 2023

Shock by that, must be Son then as he always liked playing against us.

5.

That hattrick being 3 of them, and if I remember correctly they were the only goals he scored for ages until on that season.

We somehow scored 3 against them under Levein in the cup.

I genuinely fancy Monday to be something stupid like 6-2 to Spurs.

Was 2-1 wasn't it?

Pretty sure MDV got a hatrick in the process of us coming back from 2-0 down.

He absolutely did not. Hughes got a deflected equaliser and MVD got the winner.

A De Vries hat trick? I'll have what you're on Mr.Hammond

Not sure if these stats are crazy, but since the PL began 30 years ago, City's record against Spurs is:

Played 34, won 13, drawn 5, lost 16.

Adding in four FAC ties and one LC tie, this becomes:

Played 39, won 15, drawn 6, lost 18.

So the head-to-head results aren't that bad overall. The worst stat is first one - played 34.

3-2 to us after being 0-2 down, January 2006 - the month Levein was sacked at the end of too!! M.De Vries late winner, one of only a few decent games he had for us in the Levein era!

He never got a hat trick though

We will get a new one this season:

Leicester have been deducted more points than games they have won, goals they have scored, and points they have gained in the league so far. Fecked.

(Deduction wont happen until January either and it will only be 6 points)

Maybe we should both be looking at care homes.

With the season starting on Monday I will make sure mine don't have any sports channels.

According to the Premier League website, Fatawu has won 12 tackles across Leicester’s three Premier League games so far which is matched only by Fulham left-back Antonee Robinson.

Fatawu statistic shows he’s willing to make sacrifices for Leicester City

Whilst just one statistic, this is testament to the character of Fatawu who is always willing to put the needs of the team ahead of himself.

Fatawu is the only player in the top three who is considered an attacker, with Nottingham Forest midfielder Ibrahim Sangare, Crystal Palace right-back Daniel Munoz and Tottenham centre-back Cristian Romero all joint second with nine tackles won.

Sean Longstaff and Kobbie Mainoo complete the list with eight, with both players centre-midfielders.

The fact Fatawu is willing to roll up his sleeves and work so hard for his team shows he is fully bought into Leicester’s survival bid and this will be music to the ears of Cooper.

Hmm does this reflect badly of Justin?

Fatawu and Robinson are joint first and second. The next three are joint third-fifth. The latter two are not in the top 5.:frusty:
