going forward we were much better  - the issue last night was mistake at the back and losing the ball in midfield.  With those two problems not team can prevail in the epl - he needs to fix it pdq.

Agree with this, thought that Winks was super isolated and we lacked Skipps energy. Wilf just isn't that guy anymore.

Defensively we are just so slack, and it's not tactical imo, there isn't the desire to block crosses or dominate an opponent. We let things happen to us

We had ONE shot on target. We can’t defend and we created very little going forward and nothing in the 2nd half. Cooper is failing at both ends of the pitch. We concede too many goals/expected goals and we don’t create enough opportunities to win games considering the amount of goals we concede.

But who is actively COOPER IN?

When there are several names unemployed across Europe readily available…

Trying to fix it going forward, maybe leaves the midfield a little more exposed, probably effects the defensive balance. We saw last night, managing is more than  chucking on your best 11.

Liverpool's best 11 is better than Forest's but they still got beat by, I hate to say it, a better organised side.

I feel very sorry for those Cooper in’s other halves if they think any of this is satisfactory.

The players are not very good, not sure any manager does any better with this squad. We looked weak and outclassed as individuals against Forest, that's as much an issue as the manager.

In the words of Big Nige: have you been on holiday for the past few months?

Pains me to say it but Forest look a very decent team this season solid in defence and good on the counter.

Nobody really criticised the look of the starting line up although I didn't understand the reasoning behind some of the substitutions. I think one thing the manager does need to consider is how to maintain momentum over 90 mins with the squad he has. This will need thinking about before Ipswich away because we know from last season that they will make a lot of changes and push for 95 minutes plus if needed

I'm sure people are perfectly capable of making their case on the "Out" thread whatever their feelings are!

Genuinely don’t think there’s much between the two sides other than Forest having a manager who knows what he’s tactically doing and we don’t.

This is why I’ve suggested to the forum management about having one main thread for discussion about the manager. This existing thread should be the go-to as it’s neutrally titled and both sides of the argument can be under the same banner.
