Coz he ain't a real manager.

The interview process so weak they didn't know it. He's famous. He's available. Foxestalk have had a massive communal cum over him. When can you start?

Martin? Is that you?

I cannot stand him..

The clues were there at Man U. He rinsed that starting xi. League cup. Europa and two PL games.. No changes. He wanted his wins for his own ****ing CV/ego.

Didn't want him prior to his appointment. Didn't want him upon his appointment. No trusted coaching team wanna work with him. I don't want him now after three quite abysmal team selctions and performances..

Get out..

Just out of interest mate, who would you have gone for instead?

RVN must accept the cards he’s been dealt. It’s not like he didn’t know what he was walking into after a poor United team humbled us twice in as many days. My enthusiasm after the first couple of results has evaporated. His defence of Ward is somewhat understandable because what else could he say, but selecting him in the first place was a rancid call. That was inexcusable.

He has to defend his player but it's really worrying that either a) he has known for a week Mads might miss out and hasn't watched video on Ward or b) he did research on Ward and somehow thought he should start even after seeing what happened at Newcastle. Maybe he just saw him in training and perhaps he is okay in training but knees buckle in a match. If that's the case and he hasn't watched any tape of Ward in matches then that's something missing that a top manager would have done.

what worry’s me most is that it actually shows me a couple of things about Ruud.   That he doesn’t do research and possibly thinks he’s above that.

I think any detail oriented manager like maresca or Claudio , would have looked into the past enough to see how bad ward is. Your average fan already knows that he can’t be trusted and yet what I would guess has happened is this:

Ruud has arrived and looked to see who was number 2 keeper. It was ward (because cooper is thick as pig muck) so he has left it at that.  That shows a terrible side to a manager imo.

The alternative that he actually thinks he’s better than iversen and that he made this call himself … is actually unthinkable.

Why anyone thought RVN was the right appointment is beyond me.

He’s a novice and done nothing in management to support his appointment.

He’s on par with Rooney or Lampard who you wouldn’t touch with a barge pole.

I predicted in an earlier post we could get thumped 0-3 and its happened.

It’s a disaster and that son of Vishai should sell up and sod off.

He’s got no interest in our club so  get ready for some more thrashings and I can’t even see where we will win a game from now on.

Lose the next 3-4 games by these margins and RVN should be dismissed.

We would never have lost by these margins with Cooper and although he was criticised he kept us in games and had as scoring.

I’m well and truly hacked off and it’s depressing to see what lies ahead.

Not gonna give you a smart arse answer. I'm a process a man.  have the technical team constantly reviewing a succession plan.

I have absolutely no knowledge of European football. But some people have. lean on their expertise. That's how you manage a business.

But, a business doesn't  always have to go for the crowd pleaser. there's managers in the championship far more qualified than RvN to have taken us over. And scores in Europe.

But, genuinely, had you have me a choice of Mark Robins or RvN three weeks ago, I'd have gone Robins. Seriously.

Strike two for me. Ward plays at Anfield and it's Ruud out for me.

Massive red flag today from RVN. In what world did he think it was acceptable to pick Ward?

The defence is worse now arguably then previously. We've conceded 9 in 4 games. West Ham should have scored 3 against us too.

I want him to succeed but if he thinks Ward is the second best keeper at the club then I'm sorry but how is he gonna keep us up?

Would really like him to get a backroom staff together that are his. Can't abide the three left behind from the Cooper regime. The players must be thinking the same thing like why are the same plonkers advising me day in day out still.

Hours later, I still can’t fathom how he thinks Danny Ward should start. I’m on holiday in Zürich with my partner and i started wondering down a different street to her it was on my mind so much.

It is just unbelievable

Unfortunately star player becoming a star manager is rather an exception than a rule.

It's too early to make any conclusions yet, but there is a number of things missing.

It's not just Ward's unexpected appearance in starting XI, but mainly missing ideas how we should play. We are giving the ball cheaply, not being able to create anything.

Quite often players on the ball have no options as there is no movement from others (possibly except Jamie).
As a result we push ball back and lose it at some point. Just watched final part of TOT-LIV game - applicable for both teams: as soon as any player has the ball - almost everyone around him is starting to move

offering options. We do this rarely. Then strange substitutions, like today's Buonanotte one. This guy is able to bring some excitement to the frontline - he should play at least whole second half if not from the beginning.

Defence is far from perfect as we know but RVN continues to play same settings without even trying to change anything. Wondering how he'll address Anfield's game.

Some people may not like this, but true is that last decent LCFC's manager, having a vision of what he wants to play and how was Enzo.

But let's wait for few more matches...

The worry to me is that the system appears to be exactly as Cooper set us up. A full back who can neither attack or defend asked to go high up the pitch where ( though we don’t have one) a winger should be. We may indeed get tanked every week but if we set up ala Enzo, 2 wingers and 2 number 8’s . It would suit us better. Can’t believe we didn’t play the Enzo system from the start of the season. Goodnight and the very poor Mavadidi could be the wide men , although they might not threaten they would occupy the fulll backs at least!

He won’t succeed

He’ll be a failure as a manager

thats obvious after 4 games

There was never a shred of evidence he was a good appointment. PSV finished runners up and improved when he left although arguably they sold playershe didn't want to let go. He fell out with the board and coaching staff. 4 games as caretaker at Man U with a star studded squad playing us......

I thought it was a dreadful choice but was accused of being a 'flask taker'.

We should have gone for Moyes or Potter.

RVN fraud.

I'd argue that Danny Ward isn't even the best goalkeeper we've had with the surname Ward.
