My only gripe with the selections is not starting Buonanotte when available and starting Ward. Other than that what else can he do? Were crap.

Even then based on today you can see why Bilal starts over Buenanotte. Gives the ball away far too often.

I’ll pin my colours to the mast here.

I’ve seen enough of Ruud to back him, come what may this season. I genuinely think he’s our best chance of staying up, and if we don’t I back him to get us promoted.

The club is sinking, but that’s down to Top running a business as a hobby, and wanting everyone to like him…. Not the manager

I'm there with you...

Bilal has looked better the more he plays recently, even in a losing side. It would be nice to see both Bilal and Buonanotte in the same side but they are very alike. Can see them both starting against Man City though, hopefully.

I'd a agree with that, dont help that ricky p and Abdul are injured, cos i honestly think theyd make a difference to the squad in general

Im not saying it would have changed results but we'd have had more options

Aside from selecting Ward, he's not had much choice with team selections. We've been hit with injuries to our most exciting player and one who you would fancy to have replaced Justin. Add the recent injuries to Mads and Ndidi, plus the suspension of Soumare too.

This squad/team as a collective isn't good enough. Particularly in defensive positions. The difference being, Cooper had a pre season and RVN didn't.

We need a good January transfer window. I have no faith in the club. I suspect Ruud will be gone by March because of this.

i think RVN gives players a bit more trust in terms of passing, like we know Bilal looks to do the ball in behind, where we didnt see that alot under cooper

Many in here are slagging Ruud off when he's been here about a month, when we were already fairly crap when he took charge, after we had recruited badly last Summer, while we have an injury crisis affecting some of our better players and at a time when (ex Wolves) we have been playing better sides, brimming with confidence.

Give him a bit more time and maybe a transfer window before writing him off, maybe?

Talking about the transfer window and Martinez has just said that Leicester won't just sign players for the sake of it. He obviously hasn't followed us closely then.

The selection of Ward is a black mark. Removing Faes a positive. Hope he is able to have Winks and Ndidi together at some point.

Think he will either walk or be binned in a desperate hope to get a bounce around March.

I think this is what people are missing, RVN is new to management, he's had 1 season at PSV, he is learning about the team, the players etc as we go, he hasn't had a pre season to figure all this out. This was always the risk in appointing him that we have to accept, it's going to take time (time which I appreciate we don't really have)

The wolves game was really poor and I'd like to think he learnt alot. But other than that we've had some terrible fixtures.

I'm still very nervous the experiment will fail but it's too early to really judge him, he's inherited a team that he didn't build which was made from a combination of cooper cloggers and a couple of scouting team recruiters.

Your last point on he could walk, was my main issue with him....he never really wanted to be a manager and I am not 100% convinced he is absolutely desperate for it.

Anyway, I still think we have enough to stay up as annoying as this week has been, there's still time. We just need to find a little 10 game we are hardly cut adrift like Southampton.

Me too. Needs a coaching staff and some fresh blood. Bin off the crap for championship v2 and let him build something here. We’ll be absolutely wrecked by the FL so a big window is important. Stay in the Champ and try season after next

Other than the Wolves game which was just completely bizzare it’s been par for the course.

Considering the injury situation and crock of crap he’s inherited from Gothmog he’s definitely our best chance of moving forward.

20 games to go.

We are gonna need results in at least 9 of them.

6 wins, 3 draws SHOULD do it.

Tell us what it was then... 🤔

Same as the last 7/8 Leicester managers in games like this. get everyone behind the ball, counter and hope for the best.

What game plan do you expect in a game like this? If I let you manage it 10 times you lose all 10 and get spanked in at least half of them. You can’t judge any manager when the handicap is so large.

If we tried to play like spurs did do you expect a better score line? Because all it would do is lead to a record breaking defeat tbqh.

Loosing by 2 goals is about as good as we could have hoped for

Playing with three others managers players this evening, hardly a decent Prem level one amongst them. Money has been squandered on multiple below par players.

We should have a squad filled with younger talent, but having to fill the squad out with Prem has beens.

Lets hope he has some serious talent lined up for January, or it will have been a flying visit, back to the big time.

It’s like some of you lot forgot what it’s like to be up here. Remember from March, teams literally stop playing and whoever hits their stride stays up.

Reckon if we’re in touching distance by then, we might be alright

And yet there are those complaining about this very situation clamouring for the returns of Maguire, Chilwell etc.

(not you btw)
