The lack of staff thing is bizarre.

We sacked all of O'Neil's staff and the new manager has brought 5 people with him who he says are vital to his work.

And that's coming from a club trying to do it as cheap as chips and claims to have no money. So for Ruud not to bring anyone with him is odd to say the least. Maybe he burned his bridges at PSV when he left for Man Utd and he hasn't got a clue how to replace them.

This in a nutshell sums up how badly run Leicester are. It's a joke at Leicester these days. A completely unserious organisation. Would be a terrible look for the Premier League if we did somehow fluke survival.

RVN being battered.

He's had 4 games, all of those without Ricardo and Fatawu, 2 without Winks, Hermansen and Ndidi.

You could argue they are 5 of our best players.

He's still average 1 point per game which will be enough to keep us up.

Squad needs strengthening!

It does but his choices slightly concerning. He can't have looked at Wards prior games in 22/23. He must have thought his performance at St James was out of the ordinary, and leaving facundo on the bench is another head scratcher, they're managerial errors as bad as Coopers imo, if not worse

Cooper kept Fatawu on the bench when he was fit - more than once. *drops mic*

Dropping Ricardo as well was idiotic imo, the best player in a championship winning team and pivotal to the way we played, especially after error after error with Justin, but starting Ward when Jakub and Iverson fit against Wolves is probably worse imo

Both Newcastle and Wolves just shows actually how vital Wilf is to us as well as Mads. Without him there’s zero protection for that back four.

We have been battered in all 4 games. West Ham and Brighton should have been out of sight by HT but for Mads and piss poor finishing. 4 lucky points, let's be honest. But love your optimism. All the best.

I'm not sure about that, Wolves had an Xg of 0.4, lack of Ndidi wasn't the reason we lost to Wolves by 3. Soumare was the standout against Wolves.

Iversen is a shite as Ward, just not as calamitous or funny when it goes wrong (Ward is comedy gold when he messes up). In our relegation season, Iversens stats were worse than Wards and Iversen had calamitous games himself (revisit the Fulham game).  If the feeling was that either Jakub or Hermansen were only 1 game away from fitness, i 'appreciate' the decision to not change the defensive structure to accommodate Iversen.

Facundo gives the ball away a lot. I kind of understand why you might want to start only one of him and Bilal, especially when the latter is our player.

I’m sorry but Iversen is better than Ward.

His PL stats don't agree with you, and the Stoke fans didn't think much of him. Sorry. And Iversen has featured even less that Ward in the last 6 months. I wish i could close my eyes and make it better.

Its all about Mads and Jakub. fwiw, i think Jakub is the real deal, but not quite as good as Mads. I think Mads is one of the best in the PL.

And tbf Fatawu did more when he came off the bench as opposed to when he started.

Not only that, people berated Cooper when he left Fatawu on the bench and then got berated when he started him because 'we had nothing to come off the bench'. Bloke couldn't win.

This game will show us if he is a good manager or a bad one. Not  the result but in how he follows up after that sh*t show.

If we see ward or Justin I’d be extremely concerned.

I would like to see Buonanotte as he’s one of the few that can drag us up the pitch with his ball carrying. But the car crash at the back is the bigger worry for this game. Anything better than 3-0 would be a good result tbqh

I don't think it's fair to judge iversen against ward when iversen took over a part of the season the team confidence was already shot. Iversen got player of the season for PNE. He's a better shot stopper than Ward, just his kicking let's him down, but for Wolves, Jakub should have played, if not Jakub, it should have been Iversen.

Iversen and Soyuncu start the season we went down and we stop up comfortably. Instead we had the clowns Amartey and Ward starting 20+ games that season.

I’m sorry, I’ll take anybody but Ward. He’s done.

I'm still convinced Rodgers did it on purpose to prove a point .

He did…

It started after the charity shield win. I remember watching Rodgers post match interview, and his body language was really odd…. When he gave the answers to his questions, he was aiming his answers at all of the other journalists and pundits stood nearby. He never once looked at (I think it was Stringer, in the eye) he constantly looks around almost like he was promoting himself, talking about his ambition, hunger and desire to win.

After that game he thought he would land the next “big job”, he thought he had done enough to prove himself again, but, it never came….  After the spurs job went to that bellend who’s at Forest, he lost all interest and then started gobbing off about the club being shit (which we know it is) and just gave up. He tossed the towel on after that and couldn’t be arsed anymore…. It just became a moan fest and gradually eroded into what was the end of his tenure. He did everything he could to get sacked, and if the rumours are true, he threw the towel in after the palace game and basically asked to be let go.
