I am pretty confident that if Hamza had played all this season's games at right back we would be in no worse a position than we are now. He wouldn't have directly cost us any more than 19 goals like JJ has imo.

Bure surely no worse position means we are all still complaining that our RB isn't good enough. Just instead we would be saying why is he not playing JJ who is an actual RB rather than Hamza.

JJ desperately needs a rest. Its mad to think that for the first half of last season he played 2nd fiddle to Doyle at LB.

There is a concern, for me, that if he is not backed after being told there was money, he would walk, irrespective of how that would leave his reputation.

Ruud won’t stand for these shenanigans maybe Cooper would have, but if we promised Ruud a transfer kitty to invest in the team and don’t deliver that I think he is well within his right to walk.

He walked away from PSV in a much better position than we are now. Wouldn't be surprised, and I don't think anybody would hold it against him if it came out the club hadn't been honest with him.

Presser is going to be fun isn't it, when the first questions about transfer activity come in. I imagine we may hear the first murmurings of 'outgoings before incomings'. Be interesting to see what his demeanour is like now he fully understands the sh1t show he's signed to.

He won’t walk away. Whilst he’d be in his right to, that would be twice in a row and that’s not a good look for a new manager.

Why stay though? If we cannot invest in the first team..

His demeanour when asked about transfers will be interesting.

He’s clearly been lied to about funds etc…

Both Rodgers and Enzo experienced this.

You wouldn't be surprised would you

I am hoping he calls out the board tomorrow.

I strongly doubt he will this early into the job and the window. Its his demeanour that will tell the story though.

Depends how he rates the first team. He certainly doesn’t seem concerned in the media with any of them although I appreciate it’s different behind closed doors. In the Leicestershire live article, Ruud is very aware of the PSR issue apparently and didnt really give a straight answer whether there was anything to worry about. They probably told him there’s money to spend if we don’t breach but that if we have then we won’t be able to.

He’s probably checking his contract and trying to get out asap.

If it meant weakening the board further I wouldn’t mind it …

100% he will walk if he’s been lied to. He’s way more principled than most.  Lopategui walked from wolves and that didn’t stop him getting more gigs.   MON walked from villa.

He's an ex team mate of Enzo's, they discussed the Leicester job before RVN joined us.

Don't you think Enzo would have told him what to expect.
