They've sold one of the Private Jets as well, and judging by the fact the other one hasn't been used for almost two months I imagine that is up for sale too.

Encouraging...... lol

I don’t think we should be bashing the owner here. He’s clearly selling the jets for environmental reasons, just like the club turned down a fan group handing out mental health awareness leaflets.

I don’t know if these have been mentioned in other threads but some interesting King Power news updates that I found through trawling the net are that King Power duty free have retained the Airports of Thailand concessions through revised agreements and more interesting is that the King Power Sunseeker yacht that Vichai purchased is up for sale for 9.8 million euros.

They really are financially on their knees, as we are. Desperately need to get away from them.

There's a gangster-owned club around 20 miles north of Leicester for starters..

Despite everything, would anyone seriously swap Aiyawatt for Marinakis?

Would you rather eat dog shit or cat shit?

Would I take a shot at winning our first European trophy with assets like Morgan Gibbs White, Elliot Anderson and Murillo over dwindling in the Championship under financial constraints?

For all we can say bad about Marinakis, he has ambition. Something Top will never ever have, as a trust-fund baby benefitting from nepotism of the highest order.

From a Forest fans perspective what exactly has he done wrong?

Employed Ange, which was the quickly and correctly rectified, potentially not just salvaging their PL status but also potentially their entire season?

Absolute shambles that a month has now passed since news broke about the plan to revamp the off-field football operations with no appointment, no timeline, no update. Transfer window opens in 2 weeks and we will be making signings (maybe) with the old set up. Typically slow and indecisive way of conducting business which will have a knock on effect for the club's future.

lol No chance.

Antonio or a free transfer the only possible exception.

Anyone worth having is going to take some time, possibly not available until the summer.

I understand recruitment takes time but I think the fact it was announced in November would suggest something was in the pipeline othewise keep quiet until the end of the season. We were as good as relegated at the end of Jan so a revamp of operations could have been started then to give them plenty of time to get someone ahead of the summer window. They must have been happy with the structure or not given it much thought until Whelan left. Clown show.

True but even if we are not signing anybody, someone in place to handle the sales and the contract renewals. Then there is future recruitment, scouting networks, loan pathways, refresh Seagrave staff. Loads to do other than purchases.

Another damning indictment on King Power's awful running of this club.

This can't be right - people on here said last year it was literally impossible to stay up because of the Brentford and Bournemouth cartel or something.

It would have leaked I guess, and we knew they were looking for a CEO once Susan went.  I think they had no prior warning she would go and it woke Top up a bit.

That was exactly what we had when Top showed ambition by not selling Tielemans. The Forest house of cards could go exactly the same way with a few mistakes.

Umm... Marinakis extended Morgan Gibbs White's contract, Top let Tielemans run his contract down.

Thats not ambition, thats pure incompetence.

Letting players leave the club for free is not ambition.

He didn't 'let' him run out down. He didn't extend.
