Has anyone written or proposed an open letter of any description to the LCFC senior management/ownership? I think following Top's interviews (basically the fact he has no plans to sell and the fact he clearly has no idea what is going on or what the causes are), it would be a good approach to try and get something together and see how many people we can get to sign it?

Is it just me that think we never learn

Having famously missed deadline day by 14 seconds

6 EFL signings that were so late they were announced a day later, 3 of them were ours - glad to see we are still organised

Different situations.

Various news outlets reported there was a problem with paperwork/back log of paperwork holding deals up. Our paperwork went through with enough time to spare.

The club discounted the Foxestrust end of season survey which was completed by 3500 or so people because they didn't like the results. They do not listen to fan opinion because they don't want to.

It's easier when you realise that supporters are just an inconvenience to this ownership.

I agree with that, but I wonder if an open letter could get some endorsement that an anonymous survey couldn't, if it was backed by important people from the club's history.

I think its a losing battle but we should be fighting against KP in any way we can.

I know it is different issues, but only 6 deals were completed a day late, which you have to assume was the last 6 deals before the deadline - yes our paperwork was on time, but having 3 transfers in the last 6 of the entire window does show a tendency to leave everything to the last possible moment - all 3 could have been on one email, so perhaps that was the reason it took so long, I just think the optics make it look poorly organised

Weekly update in the style of that Spurs fan who does weekly reviews of their shit shows...

- Confirmation statement still overdue (now 3 months late)

- ID checks on Thai directors still overdue (despite doing it for the dormant media company)

- No tech director appointment despite top saying there was just a few formalities left on that one

- No commercial director, not had one since the summer, time of year where most critical commercial contracts are renewed, particularly kit manufacturer.

- Previous commercial director is doing rather well as Hibs CEO, club record £4.4m sale of a striker who they got in for 6 figures last year.

- No CEO appointment either

- No manager appointment

- 3 of our 4 signings on deadline day were part of the last 6 to be announced by football league clubs. Comms on this was blaming the football league but given we were at the back of the queue it's clear we left it super late as well.

But KP were affected by Covid

My take is two things; predominantly a cultural thing of KP of 'the less said the better' ....he's been schooled in that way.

Second, there's probably an element of imposter syndrome. He's out of his depth and probably knows it

Third: he doesn't want to incriminate himself and/or his Chairman.

Dear Chairman,
I wanted to write to express my sincere gratitude to you and your family for everything you have given to Leicester City Football Club.
What your family — and especially your late father — achieved with this club will live forever in football history. The belief, the ambition, and the courage to dream beyond the odds gave us moments that many supporters will cherish for the rest of their lives. The triumphs, the memories, and the sense of pride you brought to this city and its people can never be taken away.
You were not just owners, but custodians of our club, and you carried that responsibility with dignity, generosity, and heart. You showed what football ownership could and should be.
That is why it is said with respect, not bitterness, when many feel that now may be the right moment to pass the legacy on — to someone with the time, energy, and inclination to help make Leicester City great again in a new chapter. Recognising when it is time to hand over the baton does not diminish what has been achieved; it reinforces the wisdom and care with which you have always approached the club.
We will never forget what you and your family helped us achieve. You beat the odds, changed our history, and gave us a story that will be told forever.
Thank you for everything — and for knowing when it may be time to call it quits with grace.
With respect and gratitude,
A Leicester City supporter

The weird thing is, even if you were in the camp of being sympathetic to King Power for what we've achieved under their ownership, there's still a good case for an ownership change.

It's clear where we are heading directionally, we just don't know where the bottom is. The longer Top stays as owner the more and more that history, that relationship, the good times, are tarnished. There has been no recognition of the situation we are in, the blinkers are on and we continue to be one of the worst run clubs in the country.

The media lamented our sacking of Ranieri, but it saved him the ignominy of relegating the club he'd just won the league with. It saved his legacy (this may be dramatic as I'm sure he'd have maintained a legendary status, but there was no tainting of it).

For some the King Power reputation is already in the toilet, and I'm not here to disagree with that, but wherever you currently are in your King Power affection or lack thereof, it only gets worse until Top recognises his shortfalls and sells.

Dear Mr. I’m-Too-Good-To-Call-Or-Write-The-Fans:
This’ll be the last package I ever send your ass!
It’s been three years and still no review,  they don’t deserve it?
I know you got the Foxes Trust's last two letters; they wrote the addresses on ’em perfect

So this is my season ticket I’m sending you, I hope you hear it
I’m in the car right now, I’m doing 90 on the A46
Hey Top, I drank a pint of Tiger, you dare me to drive?
You know the song by Phil Collins, In the Air of the Night?

About that guy who coulda saved that other guy from drowning?
But didn’t, then Phil saw it all, then at a show he found him?
That’s kinda how this is, you coulda rescued the club from drowning
Now it’s too late, we're on our way to League One, we're drowsy

And all they wanted was a new Director of Football
I hope you know I ripped all of your pictures off the wall
We loved you Top, we coulda been massive, think about it
You ruined it now, I hope you can’t sleep and you dream about it

And when you dream, I hope you can’t sleep and you scream about it
I hope your conscience eats at you and you can’t breathe without us
See Top; shut up bitch! I’m tryin’ to talk!
Hey Top, that’s Jordan Ayew screamin’ in the trunk

But I didn’t give him a new contract, I just tied him up, see I ain’t like you
’Cause if he plays every week, he’ll suffer more and then he’ll leave too
Well, gotta go, I’m almost at Seagrave now - Oh, shit! I forgot!
How am I supposed to send this shit out?
