Is that Andy Rudkin who has commented on UFS' latest instagram post related to Jon?

Laughable.

Just had a look, that has to be his brother 🤣

Well at least we can now say it was boardroom malpractice that sent us down. Imagine if this horrible lot had kept us up by a point...

Trouble is these fools will see we are down because of the -6 points and try to blame the league.

There's always some excuse trotted out about it relating to a PSR reason as to why we can't sell and then we just fail PSR anyway so we end up with the worst of both worlds, over and over again.

half the time that excuse doesn't wash anyway. Let's take Winks. His book value for PSR is 2.5m, so a 1m sale this summer is a 1.5m "loss" but in reality we make that back three times over in getting his 90k wages off the books. Unless we're saying we would immediately replace his wages with someone equally as shit (and the Soumare out, Aribo in transfers do at least make this a defensible claim), it's not really a problem

Seeing Wednesday fans since Chansiri left has been massively inspiring, but also heart-breaking because we just don't have anything to shout about right now, they've had massive lows over the past 3-4 seasons, but at the very last day of the season, they've got new ownership who look like they at least have the financial capacity to stabilise the club and invest into the facilities, and they have had their points deduction removed for next season. Despite being the worst run club in England for years, to some degree, the nightmare looks to be over.

Us on the other hand, we've been run poorly, but there's no evidence we are going to turn a corner. Wednesday fans turned up to the final game, in the worst season in their history and packed out the ground, early, and had a massive party dressed in full Hawaiian attire and celebrated like they'd just been promoted, because they can finally see the rebuild, they can see the potential to stop the rot.

We, also in our worst season in history, are going down feeling like the ownership are going to sign a load of rubbish on huge wages, and continue to follow the same mistakes that led us here over the last 4 years or so.
How the hell have we got to a point where Wednesday are celebrating and partying like promotion, and we just feel sick to our stomach that some of these players will still be here next season?

This feeling of being near the gutter has been entirely curated by the ownership and board. SWFC are my "2nd team" because one of my oldest friends is a fan, right now despite the fact I know we have better facilities, better players etc and IF we fix the mess, a higher immediate ceiling, I feel more optimistic and excited about their future than I do ours.

SWFC fans are largely in unison, and now they look like they might have owners who want to join that unity. (don't get me wrong, it's a US investment firm, this could go badly wrong)
LCFC feels like a one way relationship.

The next managerial appointment simply has to be inspiring, and Top/senior club officials need to be having monthly interviews to discuss the future of the club.

Im so jealous of Sheffield Wednesday !!!!

bold to assume that he's not also blocked by Graham Potter, just to keep him out of the DMs.

Not that I really expected it but Rudkin is going nowhere is he? He isn't going to dramatically improve in his job after 10 years. The only hope for KP is that McCarron is decent at his job and that he won't be overruled or c○ckblocked by Rudkin.

Rumour has it that Top has had 2 offers to buy us. He's declined both.

This is from a reliable source in the pub.

There was a top football journalist who said the same a few weeks ago, can't remember who it was.

Take this with a pinch of salt:

My mate was at the Aston Villa vs West Ham game in hospitality. Whilst there, he was in conversation with Marc Albrighton about the current situation at Leicester.

Marc Albrighton supposedly said that individuals within the club, including players, actively try to offer their time and support in an attempt to help improve the club’s situation but repeatedly find their gestures fall on the deaf ears of senior management.

He supposedly said Senior management seem to be on a complete power trip and refuse any sort of help from others that would undermine their handling of the club matters.

The breakdown of relationship between senior management and individuals at the club is a strong factor in why the atmosphere around the club is negative and why that’s reflected with the performances on the pitch.

The supposed fallout from senior management has a ripple effect throughout the rest of the club that makes everyone feel disinterested and disconnected with the club.

I stress the word supposedly in all of this, but part of me believes this is a very likely scenario behind the scenes.

Put aside all the bile, rage and hatred I feel towards Toop Aiyatwatt and Dufkin. The real barometer will be on how quickly Toop sets about fixing the club and announcing:

1. The discarding of Gary ‘shameless’ Rowett

2. Installing a progressive, talented and ambitious new manager.

3. Clearingthe decks of this disastrous squad of losers.

4. Communicating a clear strategy on getting the club promoted in one season.

Not holding my breath.
