Could only see a bit of a lack of pace as one of his main weaknesses.

Stoke fans say he's anonymous too

£10m upfront

Hopefully the 25% sell on fee is based on the profit rather than the whole fee… either way brilliant deal!

I expect it will be, I don’t think you ever really see it based on the whole fee anymore

Although if Rudkin is doing the deal…

Needs to be done quickly, feels like getting players out has to happen before we get players in.

Woyo, Ndidi and Hermansen back soon and a couple more new face we may have a chance.

Now we can get Ferguson ?

Ruud will say get me Ferguson to Rudkin.

He will end up with Big Duncan Ferguson as his assistant.

I don’t think that’s true, makes zero sense to do the deal if so. Hardly any profit and he’s not shit either.

Wonder if the initial deal was like 5m with 2.5 in bonuses and they’ve not received a good amount of them… would make a bit more sense then if we still come out with 5/6m profit

If it makes zero sense Rudkin will get it done. No worries.

Vardy's first season in the Championship he wanted to quit and Pearson and co had to talk him out of it, Cannon shows he has some qualities, he's a very raw striker, he could come good, give him a season in the championship and if he can get us 15-20 goals we can see how he gets on.
We don't have money to spend especially if we go down, we will struggle to find a player who will get us 15 goals in the champ with the amount we will have to spend down there.

I’ll be honest as much as I like Cannon, for a £10m upfront fee it seems to good of a deal to turn down based off our current financial situation and needs in the squad.

After signing Coulibaly for £3m, including the £10m fee being recieved from Cannon and the original forecast of having £12-£14m to spend.

That leaves you with around £19-£21m to spend.

Leaves you around £10m for a couple of players and a few million for a loan player. Get a centre back, winger and a striker.

As much as I like Cannon and his potential, the overall balance of the squad is more important to us in our current situation.

I hope not. genuinely predict him to end up as a championship journeyman. All hype

Small profit for a player that is proven at championship level.
