We should give this 90 minutes of football bollocks up, as this gripping edge of the seat financial jeopardy stuff is where it is at……

I want to leave early!

Chelsea if I were to bet. I just don't think its us.

I feel like there'd be loads more speculation if that were the case. With it being a top six club I can't imagine it'd be kept quiet so far. And with only Kieran Maguire seemingly knowing.

The club are only saying they are confident to save face. They know very well they’ve breached and will just deny it to try and fool some of our fans in thinking the premier league have it in for us. Don’t fall for it.

They said the same on the EPL punishment and were proven right. As crap as they are managing the finance side, they're as good on lawyering up.

Yep. We've been here a few times with negative stories in recent years, and it's the same result each time (unless there's a loophole to be had).

if we've breached then there needs to be action, but our fanbase is far too passive for that.

So we'll be here again soon enough.

Maguire is talking about us for sure, he said as much last week on national radio.

He also said he couldn’t see how we could get out of the recent PSR predicament…. And we did. He’s pretty clued up, but he’s not  all knowing. There will be an amount of theory to his claims.

They do get some stuff like team lineups just before the official announcement but they're better for analysis than breaking news, as often they get that wrong. This latest tweet is clearly for engagement, says nothing more than the Guardian article.

They reckoned we'd breached 23/24 before the Guardian article, so it was either a punt or they're in with a journo.

What would be interesting is, let’s say it is us and we get a points deduction of between 2-6 points, that would surely mean we can’t sign any players in January? I wonder if the crowds would drop off massively with people just writing off the season.

Yeah, he isn't all kwowing - he's left himself enough room by saying 'high risk' rather than definite.

The point is it is Leicester he's talking about as he's said this just last week - let's hope he's wrong.

Yep, wouldn't surprise me if it was a journo.

Him and Stefan Borson making a living out of sound bites.

This can't be highlighted enough. Football journalism is 90% soundbites and very few amounts of actual solid journalism.

Given the leagues seem to struggle to understand their rules, I'm doubting how much these pair will know.

It doesn’t the fact we are in poor hands.

Hopefully the next year or so will see that change. Can’t keep going on.
