KDH sale not included in 2023/24 is surely incorrect. If it isn't and we fail because of it then we are utter morons.

It had to have been surely….. we forced the deal through to ensure we complied. To be fair, even if we haven’t breached, I fully expect the PL to say we have, because they will be desperate to get one over on us…. I know for a fact there are people within the PL organisation who despise us, and actively want to ensure we go down and stay down.

But, I’m sure KDH is included in the 23/24 accounts….. there’s going to be a lot of click bait until it’s revealed.

So, if we breach it’s based on two weeks of being a PL team? Is this correct?

yep. which then raises an interesting question of, if we weren't in breach under PL rules in 2022/23 due to the trade of the golden share, so that years accounts went into the championship, could we argue that having gotten the golden share before the end of 23/24 accounting period, we were a PL club for the purposes of allowances? it'd sound ridiculous but we've already shown the rules are not well written

For me, they’ve made a complete mess of it. Forest breached because they went wild….. the definition is “gaining a sporting advantage”, what advantage have we gained? The rules are a complete mess, punishing all the wrong teams. They will try and punish us again, but I think we will be able to clear our names again.

Can you elaborate on this?

If the club is indeed confident that it hasn’t breached, it will be deeply irritated by the Guardian story because of how it will

impact us in the transfer market. You’d think the PR dept would want to correct any false rumours as soon as possible, so I’d expect to see articles by John Percy and/or in the Mercury challenging the Guardian article fairly soon. If no counter-story appears in the next few days, I might start to get concerned….

The accounts will be published and all will surely be clear. It's also f'ing mental why anyone working in a professional organisation would hate a club, I know it happens with pundits, but it's pathetic

This is the biggest load of bollox. Yes the big clubs don't want another leicester.

The prem got more exposure that season than any season since it started. Sky sold news feeds all over the world to local news stations and news papers than it ever did before.

People confuse comments made by the big six representation on the prem as the feelings of all 20 clubs.

Overseas TV revenue when up hugely after 2016 for one reason us. That and us proving money is not the be all and end all.

Shame we went all Billy big bollox afterwards.

I don't think we went Billy big bollox enough, if forest get top 4, then I think we'll see Billy big bollox

I know. What i meant is we needed to invest in stadium, coaches, better players in those jan transfer windows when we were in forests position

The problem is we spunked it all in the summers paying over the top. Then handing out stupid contracts.

Total mismanagement living in the here and now.

Personally I see no change with this lot and a long spiral down. We will also piss everyone else off on our plummet.

Wasn't the fees that were the problem, was the contracts on some the players, should have had Conditions attached, as should Rodgers contract, we didn't do our due diligence, nevertheless we were walking a tightrope. The two standout issues for me was Rodgers contract and NOT strengthening enough, either in Januarys to secure CL or summer 22 when we signed nobody

KDH did not want to leave but was persuaded to by the club because we needed the money. His departure was nothing like those of Kante, Drinkwater and Fofana, all of whom were desperate to leave. KDH deserves nothing but respect and gratitude from us - I hope he gets a decent move soon because his career will remain in deep freeze if he stays at Chelsea.

my thoughts too .....he basically knew he was going to warm a bench for the sake of the club he loves

I think we are all on the same page.

Such a shame. Local lad came through our system and was awesome for us last season.

Yet people find some sad need to take the piss out of him when all he's tried to do is the best for our club.

Why rely on the press when our leadership can jump out of their bunker instead and just say it.

Seems daft if the only reason he went was so one could go the other way so we could both fiddle psr, basically ruining 2 promising young careers because the rules are so absurd.

He didnt want to leave.

And will have known it unlikely he will be a regular but financially he will retire a wealthy man - he deserves it as he was a great club man too and never moaned when sent on loan etc

I for one old love him back as he would be better than what we have now

Really not sure why you would take the piss out of KHD.

Not sure he even wanted to go but was forced due to the idiots that run the club.

But hey he's giving it a go and was at least on the Chelsea radar.

So Royston while you're taking the piss out of him would you like to tell us what Premier League club you signed for?

calm down:schlupp:

it was a joke:plancque:

some people.............
