However, the Blades were only comfortable with an option to buy on the chance they don’t secure a return to the Premier League at the first attempt. But, those issues have seemingly been ironed out and the final details remain before the midfielder moves on.

If we were insisting on an obligation to buy regardless of where they find themselves at the end of the season then I wonder now if the 'option' is an 'obligation' IF they are promoted, otherwise i think its safe to say they are not buying him at the end of the season regardless of promotion then. 2
