With a bit of help from ayew

When Ayew stands there with his arms outstretched, gesturing to Justin after the goal, as if to say WTF were you doing, you know it's really bad,

Just seen Mav's absolutely honking miss and he probably should have given away a pen.

I'm glad we agree on a penalty call for once :D

What was the reaction like from the away end after the game ? Seemed loud during the game from my coverage

Pretty resigned.

The support was far better than the team in my view today

He's our best defender by a country mile - the rest are a shambles (although to be fair I thought Luke Thomas stuck to his task pretty manfully today).

Absolutely agree with both, there’s a player in Thomas also, I’m not sure why he’s fallen so far from that volley away at United but here we are

Undone by two individual defensive mistakes yet again.

I hate to say it, but I think we might actually be in a better position with Cooper.

Well our wise owner and directors have a real talent for making the wrong decisions, so sacking the ugly, boring man who may just have kept us up for a pretty face is par for the course.

Frankly us and Soton properly deserve to go down.

My cousin is a Villain, he reckons we defended well, no one has frustrated them like that at Villa park other than Forest apparently. His opinion is we’re a couple of players short of being okay. He said the same about Justin throwing the point away.

That team/squad is championship standard, really poor summer window signing players we didn’t need when ££ was tight.

Im loathe to blame RVN because of the above but we are arguably worse than we were under Cooper.
It’s just a mess from top to bottom.

I have said all season , I don't think this squad is as good as last seasons in the championship.

Top apparently had a massive hard on for Ruud in the summer. So as soon as he became available, Steveo got the axe.

The problem is the January market is hugely in favour of the seller. It’s doubtful we’ll get everything we need in this window.

Agree. Ward, Coady and Luke Thomas made 15 appearances or so versus zero last season.

Vardy wasn't a regular last season, more or less ever present this season.

BdcR and Ayew instead of Abdul. Skipp instead of KDH. Eduardo over Kels.

It's been a disastrous season. Very very few teams go up, spend money to get significantly worse

Stayed nicely in the game, just not good enough in both boxes again. This is massively a quality issue. Feel like Ruud is actually doing a good job with what he has.

read again: Iversen has not played in six months and was the previous managers (and if we're honest Enzo too given the two keeper benches) 4th choice. He was not getting picked by any manager ahead of Ward. And again, since you seem to be unable to pay attention to the actual discussion: COOPER. WAS. PICKING. WARD. AS. HIS. SECOND. CHOICE. SO. WOULD. HAVE. PLAYED. HIM. IF. MADS. WAS. INJURED.

Okay, before you turn into a complete super *****, maybe you haven’t read what I said clearly. Maybe read that again.

WHY. WOULD. WARD. STILL. BE. FIRST. CHOICE. AFTER. NEWCASTLE??

DOES. THAT. MAKE. MORE. SENSE. NOW???

Unless its us, we can never shift anyone

Should have stuck with Cooper. He wasn’t perfect but had a championship squad averaging not far off a point a game. Those calling for him to be fired will no doubt have been calling for Maresca’s head last season also.
