I'm more p1ssed off about the last few games including this one where we should have got something  if it wasnt for individual stupid errors.

Its costing us dearly and isnt acceptable.

I was fecking livid walking back to star city.

Hope Ruud gives them a fergie style hairdryer treatment

Should have stuck with Cooper. He wasn’t perfect but had a championship squad averaging not far off a point a game. Those calling for him to be fired will no doubt have been calling for Maresca’s head last season also.

Sometimes you roll the dice and it pays off. I think most didn’t want Coops in the first place. We’ll never know for sure which manager would’ve done the best job, but we at least conceded fewer shots than before RvN. However we’ve gained less points, so we’re f**ked haha

The problem is the January market is hugely in favour of the seller. It’s doubtful we’ll get everything we need in this window.

Going to have to take a chance on someone out of form, someone over seas who wants to use it as a chance to play in the prem and prove themselves and young unproven players.

The gap is so vast now. No team  that gets promoted is strong enough to compete.  PSR means you can't spend enough to compete. But no established club will vote against it.

PSR is the safety net for established clubs. Busting our spending ment we had to sell so automatically weaker on return. Any club promoted will fall straight back down.

PSR is a restraint on business practices and sooner or later a club will take it to the courts and win. Football is no longer competitive with these rules in place.

Other clubs have come up and been fine. It’s just poor recruitment.

Partly agree. If ever a team was equipped to bridge that gap it was us.

We went down with a PL squad. Came up with roughly a PL team. Then, we went and bought Eduardo, BdCr and paid X5 the amount of money for Ayew and Skipp

when what we wanted was another Bilal, Abdul, Stephy, mads and to an extent an Okoli. And future proof ourselves a bit.

Okay, before you turn into a complete super *****, maybe you haven’t read what I said clearly. Maybe read that again.

WHY. WOULD. WARD. STILL. BE. FIRST. CHOICE. AFTER. NEWCASTLE??

DOES. THAT. MAKE. MORE. SENSE. NOW???

bold of you to accuse anyone of not reading.

So once again: It was between him and Iversen, and given the question was on Cooper, of course Cooper would have played ward v Wolves. clear enough or do you want me to fetch you an English teacher?

100% nailed on.

We are bereft of any quality.

We would not be in the top2 in the championship with this team.

We have gone backwards since promotion

Care to remind me of who got relegated last season. Who looks most likely this season?  The three promoted sides and it will become the norm now psr is in and being enforced.

You are correct, most didn't want him including me, but l just thought he was getting the best out of, quite frankly dross, he was employed to keep us up, i.e out of the bottom 3, this he did.

However, Top decided he fancied a novice with a legendary tag instead, and like many on here fantasised about how good we could be with a miracle worker in charge.

We'll never know if Cooper could have succeeded (most unlikely with our rubbish squad).

However as the worst he could have done was to oversee a relegation, then if lovely handsome Ruud also takes us down then it is quite reasonable to say that he is no better than Cooper, and as the chances of him being exactly the same as horrible unattractive Steve are vanishingly unlikely, then he is probably worse!

Another stunning decision from our brilliant rich boy... I mean owner.

The counter attack we scored from is quite possibly the slowest counter I've ever seen lol Vards was running through treacle to catch up with Ayew.

Even Youri was in the box by the time Mav stuck it in :D

Cooper was taking us down with his band of pensioners and their lovely "premier league experience"

The only difference between the 2 is that under Cooper we would be on 10 points.

We'd have almost certainly seen Ward play every game since Wolves as well, with Cooper coming up with more and more insane complaints about referees and how they're at fault for our misfortune.

Fulham Brentford forest bournemouth are examples that can be done.

Sadly yes, had a great game today as well

Apart for the assist on Barkley's goal.

Can’t compare Cooper to now. He had a lot easier fixtures for starters.

Thought Thomas was great today

Also had a full squad.

Yes add us to that and we won the league second season. Do you see that happening again. My point is clubs coming up but need to spend way more than the limits will allow to compete with 14th to 17th from the previous season.

Of your named clubs only forest came up when psr ffp was being enforced. They gambled and it paid off but got a small deduction. The longer this goes on the bigger the deductions will become. But the spend allowance will never allow you to bridge the gap and it's set to become lower.

Agree. Ward, Coady and Luke Thomas made 15 appearances or so versus zero last season.

Vardy wasn't a regular last season, more or less ever present this season.

BdcR and Ayew instead of Abdul. Skipp instead of KDH. Eduardo over Kels.

It's been a disastrous season. Very very few teams go up, spend money to get significantly worse

Look at the squad previous that got relegated with the likes of castagne, Soyuncu, Tielemans, Maddison and Barnes  and it really highlights how the squad has regressed. We're  now nowhere near Premier league level .

PSR does make it a lot harder there’s no doubt. That’s why you need good recruitment and good board, to which we have neither and still breach.
