Ferrari turning their engines up this weekend or is this legit them catching McLaren?

They had an update package in the last race, and I think Silverstone suits their car.

Yeah and the best upgrade is due for the race after this one.

I thought Lewis was going to take it when Oscar made his error but just couldn't keep it clean enough. That Ferrari had pace though, 0.55s up coming into the final 4 corners so lost a ridiculous amount of time. Max once again driving the skin off of his car, if it does rain tomorrow I think it will be a 1-2-3 Max, Oscar, Lewis.

Great stuff!  Any recommendations for good spots?

End of hanger is good or front of beckets grandstand, they have closed GA around maggots but you can still sit there but quite high wall due to it being all tarmac now. Can’t do copse anymore as that is GA + there aren’t loads of good GA spots anymore due to adding more stands and charging more for GA+ just get there early! Talking 6am/6:30am to get a good spot. You can leave your camping chairs and wonder around so not stuck to one spot.

Think it will be light showers on and off all race.

It's due to be showery up until 1-2pm and that's only a risk... With what the forecast is saying now it's a 20% risk across the track area... I'd love it to pour but I doubt they'll be a drop.

Am I right in thinking the Ferrari's will thrive better in lower track temps compared to the Mclaren's which perform better in the heat?

Seems that way, Ferrari also have the higher downforce setup which will help with lower grip. Red Bull with the low downforce will be interesting. Sure Max will genuinely enjoy driving sideways in the conditions.

Water really does sort out the men from the boys. And whilst I hate to admit it, Max is a different gravy.

Never been happier to be proved wrong!
