Lets not go too mad, I have seen them given but Muzzy went down very easy for the first two, and then was never going to get the third after that.

I think the 2nd is a clear penalty, the first would be soft. The third is another clear penalty. Also kicked us off the park.

Weren't their fans helping to clear the snow? I doubt they'd have bothered if we'd been winning. It would have been a travesty if it had been abandoned though tbf.

This left me raging. It does make you question corruption when it’s so blatant

This alone doesn't bother me, I didn't think it was a pen. The thing that really annoyed me was that Man City got a penalty for exactly the same thing in the same game lol

Let’s not forget how one of their players absolutely knobbled Ian Marshall who was causing their defence all kinds of problems and no sending off. Think he stamped on his knee if I’m correct?

Daniel Prodan.

Marshall reckons he was playing as well as the time he scored a hat trick v Derby and was set for another that night, and Prodan assassinated him.

Another mind boggling one was Sabitzer not getting sent off , probably would've won the game because we were playing well , small moment that could've saved us from relegation

I agree , in most recent times and having to listen to Neville saying I can see that he was trying to take his foot away!

But for me it was Speedie at Wembley in 93!

Just putting this out there as it's not been mentioned. That free kick for Cardiff being allowed to be taken in the play off semis. It was miles forward from where it should've been taken and resulted in the equalising goal.

This one still cheeses me off today. Peter Whittingham (RIP) moved the ball forward at least five yards, ref moved it back. Then when the ref turned round to walk into position, Whittingham moved it straight back forwards 5 yards and the officials just let him take it from there.

Nevermind taking the free kick, he should have been booked.

Chopra was offside before Alex Bruce brought him down too.

What's being sung at 4.47, just as the second goal is scored?

The home game? That was the winner in the 1st leg.

The whole tie was shockingly officiated though. 2nd leg was one of the best games I’ve ever seen, they were a good side but undoubtedly the balance of refereeing decisions cost us a place at Wembley.

1st leg - At least 2 (arguably 3) blatant handballs not given as penalties, plus the free kick you mention.

2nd leg - Their equaliser (penalty) was given after Chopra was at least 2 yards offside (we were looking very comfortable at that point). Chopra stamp on Wellens’ face, no red. Knee-high tackle on Berner when we’re breaking and he’s bearing down on the last man, no red.

Even one of those decisions would have been an absolute robbery, to have 5 or 6 over 2 matches, shocking.

Can't remember the exact details but think it was Watford at home in the Championship 10-15 years ago. Defender uses his hands to clear it off the line.... Play on.

Yes, that was Clattenburg.  He later admitted he got that one wrong.  He got his own back years later.  We were playing Arsenal at hone dyeing moments Musa got away from his marker and was clearly tripped in the box.  It was a clear penalty.  Clattenburg waved play on.   I think we either lost 1 0 or drew that game 1 1.

Was a 0-0 - first home game after the title season.

This of course was the same Clattenburg who refused to send any Spurs players off at Stamford Bridge in order to keep the title race going in May 2016.

Fortunately, Eden Hazard ended it anyway.. 🙂

I knew we sung that but I thought it was a 60/70s thing, no idea it was being sung so relatively recently.

Most teams’ fans sang YNWA and Hey Jude well into the 80s but I think  after Hillsborpugh, YNWA became some sort of Anthem especially for Liverpool fans..

A few bad ones last year.

Ricardo yellow card at Leeds for a great challenge.

Fatawu non penalty at home to Millwall.

Hull Away. Hull player on a booking and moves towards the ball when we're taking a free kick. Ref goes over him to book him but realises he's already on a yellow so doesn't bother.

I know this isn’t what the poster asked but a decision that went OUR way which I always thought was terrible was in the 5-3 against Man Utd. Rafael On Vardy.

Worse one gone our way was Chris Wood disallowed goal when we played Burnley.

would hardly have been a travesty, it should have been. Downright dangerous, we came away with like 4 injuries from that match because the surface was completely unplayable.

It definitely should have been abandoned but if we'd been 3-0 up I'd have thought a replay was a travesty even if it was the correct decision.

Also still angry about the clear Brighton handball in the penalty area not given during Covid last minute hands on the air with no one around him would have got us champions league

Made worse that in the same week Man Utd who chased us down got like three dodgy ones.

Swindon penalty in Play Off final ( David Elleray )

Steve Walsh would probably agree with that choice:
