Been the subject of transfer speculation basically ever since he arrived. He's another that won't attract bids high enough to cover our book value because as usual we overpaid in the first place.

Série A teams would only offer loan with option they inevitably won’t take up. Lower wages and longer contract means he will likely stay.

Unless we fail to shift any of Coady, Faes or Vesty in which case will probably have to loan him out to get at least one CB out the door. Sincerely hope this one isn’t the case!

He’s decent, especially for the championship. Strong, quick and definitely a cut above this level.

Against popular opinion, I quite like him. Being in and out of the side hasn't done anything for him, neither has playing alongside unexploded bomb defenders. 

 

Get him next to a competent, calm head like Nelson and I think we'll see the best of him.

Might be OK in championship ok fair point .. hes not really had a good cb to play alongside so pretty unfair to write him off

Okoli will be a monster in the Championship. He's got the physical attributes to make up for any mistakes in judgement.

I actually thought for a guy his size that he was pretty disappointing at times.

 

He must have spent too much time with Jannik but defensively, I have a few memories of making himself smaller than he is and often being weak in aerial duels.

He was lining up between Wout Faes and Victor Kristiansen most weeks I'd cut him some slack with the stats.

 

Plus looking at the actual defending stats, they're actually decent! Not sure how you'd expect him to be making successful take ons and progressive passes in our team last season
