Shocked he hasn't gone out on a crap loan to a lower Serie A side.

Feel like Martin's already worked out he cannot play in his sides though - I don't buy the injury messaging

McCarthy can do the shot stopping part of being a keeper. Okoli has no attributes that work in defence.

Genuinely makes you wonder what our scouting team actually does. Okoli doesn’t even look like he knows how to play football. We pay our scouts and stat guys handsomely and they keep turning up turds with a regularity that seems more like design than simple random incompetence.

Any decent network requires good leadership and willingness to use it. Okoli was one of many, many agent black book signings over the last few years, particularly since we hired Martin "Dellboy" Glover.

 

We have ZERO evidence that the analytics and scouting teams aren't doing their job brilliantly, the evidence we do have is regularly using the same agents and agencies to find us manager and players.


Glover has done this at every club he's worked at. The man worked under Sam Allardyce for most of his career in case you need any more evidence of what's been going on.

Glover’s role definitely doesn’t get scrutinised enough.

 

Whether it’s agent led signings or how this summer, he basically asked Russell who he’d like to have a coffee with on the south coast.

 

The idea of new owners can’t happen soon enough, hopefully they’d cull everyone currently involved with the rotten running of the club.
