I don’t understand how you can defend him. Lost 7 league games on the spin made us look a worse side than we were under cooper. Despite injuries and everything everyone else is spouting the vast majority of the fans would not have picked that starting line up and the subs were beyond a joke. Stop trying to defend him. He’s a shambles the board are a shambles as is the club. I feel sorry for him as he should never have been put in this situation he hasn’t got the skills or experience for this shit show.

What line up would you have gone with today? Where do you expect us to be with the shower of shit we have? And who do you think we should get in to take his place?

I said weeks ago I was skeptical. He has done nothing to improve us, if anything he has made us worse.

I disagree imo we are playing better football, than we did under Cooper, it's the finishing that's the problem tbf

Gents, I honestly think the problem lies deeper than the manager & for the first time in a very long while, I could sense that something wasn’t right on the pitch.

There was a massive discontent amongst the players, something that I’ve not seen before, they just didn’t look like they had the fight in them. Like their confidence is shot to pieces.

Theres something not quite right about this football club at the minute, it has to lie deeper than the manager & I think we all know where it does lie…& I think they know now too!

Whatever team someone might suggest you'll disagree. It's opinion thing. But there is some factual stuff;

We've played the same formation since Newcastle away and got the exact same outcome as at Newcastle away. How about a rethink eh, Ruud? Maybe it ain't working like.

We don't play any pace up front. Factual. Maybe, just maybe, when a team is rubbish, the mamager has to resort to the basics away from ability. Be stronger or taller  Run further. Be faster.

I would love a statement from Top that he is selling the club, that would be the start we need to kick on.

Ownership are piss Poor and making a mockery of us.

Top could probably swing the majority of fans just by announcing he is reshuffling the board and bringing in seasoned pros with experience and track records, and announcing to fans he is taking full responsibility and is taking the steps to fix it.
He won't.

He’s hasn’t got a clue honestly send him a crash course in ownership by Paul Bloom at Brighton.

Seriously who are we expecting to get in if we get rid????

Sacking a manager every 3 months solves nothing. Yes we’ve been dogsh*t and the performances are inexcusable but it’s mental seeing people calling for his head.

I like Ruud, speaks so well. But the subs today and Wednesday we terrible. The board weren’t wrong to sack cooper but may have been wrong to appoint Rvn. They were def wrong to appoint Cooper.

Sean Dyche is available and has a record of keeping teams up at least somewhat regularly. However, in what way do we have anything that even slightly resembles a Sean Dyche team? There is a serious lack of physicality in this team (among many things).

Well first of all one of our most creative players in facundo would start ahead of ayew. His subs were a joke he brings on skip who’s is worse than winks and takes off bilal one of our most creative players for macateer. That’s no slight on the players it was just poor decision making by the manager and the fans lets him know so I’m not alone in this thinking. Stop defending him we’ve lost 7 league game on the spin that is unacceptable at any level of football.

Sorry, but.

(a) He's not the main problem.

(b) A Championship club cannot afford to sack coaching staffs every few months at several million per.

(c) We'd just pick some other clueless character who would demand a different set of players we can't afford.

He’s definitely a problem.

El Khanouss looked like the only one to get us back in the game (fans on board) then decides to replace with Skipp! He’s absolutely to blame today unless people are closet Man U fans

think there's a fair few players that don't want to play for us, Ayew, Soumare, Faes, BDCR, i'd bet it's not a harmonious group which doesn't help, the season has gone badly wrong and is beyond repair, what gets worse is when you look at players like Coady, Ayew and BDCR, can you see them helping us in Championship next season

I hear what you’re saying but I just don’t think we have the players and quality, whatever formation we try. It does seem like we’re trying to force a system that doesn’t work with these players. We’re just not good enough for this league. The recruitment has been shit.

he changed the formation to 4-4-2 and doesn't think Bilal can play in a midfield 2, unless you think Bilal should have gone out wide instead of Ayew

We played our strongest 11, on paper, against Crystal Palace and still got dicked.

Doesn’t matter who we have in charge here, the squad isn’t up for the fight. We’re not good enough.

Is this the place that wanted maresca sacked last season, wanted Cooper out and now wants RvN out? Oh, OK!

I don't think anyone seriously wanted him sacked, I think a lot were dismayed by his stubbornness and panicked, understandable with the stakes so high for the club.

Ruud can mix it up a bit play Daka from the start , he could even give some of the young players a chance I would sooner have the likes of Braybrooke over Skipp etc.

We lack a lot of physicality but often physicality can be substituted with bravery, If players stopped shirking tackles we do have a few that could get stuck in. The new lad Woyo is physical, Faes has the stature to chuck a boot in, we know Vardy will, Okoli is a very physical player, Ndidi when he's fit knows how to get a tackle in, before he came to us Skipp was always a bit of a work horse.
I think half of the battle is just getting into these players heads and giving them a siege mentality.

That's one thing I've noticed recently especially after listening to Moyes interviews at Everton where he has on multiple occasions mentioned the need for the players to dig deeper and grind out results and to get stuck in, I don't think I've heard Ruud mention anything like this since being here? He doesn't seem like the type that got the players into the dressing room today and threw some bins around sadly.

I ****ing hate Dyche with a passion but I can guarantee he hates Leicester City even more.

It’s a big test for RVN as this job could easily send him the way of Lampard, Gerrard Rooney etc - he may well be absolute garbage and all hype.

I’m almost not bothered about this season, average team, average managers, best players injured -  I want a manager who can build a side and move players that need to be moved on.

Puel was the last manager who really did that.  Enzo’s signings were also mostly good.
