When we go down we will be there for a few years as out team is so crap and wonโ€™t get us back up. No money, poor managementย

Get rid of every player and start again, but it won't happen, any one half decent will go but we'll just be left with the bulk of dead wood, we are basically stuck with :(

Depends how much the EFL screw us, who's managing and what players we have.

ย

Let's not pretend or delude ourselves that this is an IF its very much a WHEN, there is no way bar someone getting points deducted that this squad finishes above Wolves. I'd even go as far as to say we will not win another game and finish below Southampton, it's rotted.ย

Honestly at the point now of thinking we need a cleansing. It's going to take more pain to get there.

ย

Strap in for a few years of rotting in the lower leagues - possibly even lower than the Championship for a while.

And favourites for the drop again the season after!

Oh f***, imagining next season

ย

Jakub (Mads sold, and please Rudkin even you can't give Ward a new contract)

ย

New RB (coulibaly will leave on loan refusing to play in the Championship)

Nelson

Vestegaard (I just can't see anyone coming in for him)

Thomas

ย

Skipp

Braybrooke

ย

Fatawu (hopefully injury will stop him leaving)

Alves

Cordova-Reid

ย

Vardy (Yes he'll still be here on 90k a week)

ย

Managed by some poor useless idealess idiot that accepts the job (RVN will be gone by the end of this month)

ย

Lower Table finish

Don't think I want us to come back up. I know this sounds a bit 'give it Jewlleh' but I'd rather we brought in a young British manager (Robins would be nice), brought through some players like Alves and Nelson, and had a couple of seasons fighting for the playoffs and maybe a half decent cup run. Might weed out some of the happy clappers and reestablish a connection between players and fans.

ย

Problem is we have a load of shit **** players we can't shift.

Every year I think it's harder to stay in the Prem, PSR is making it a closed shop. It's highly likely next year it will be the 3 promoted teams again as none of them are as strong as we were last year.ย

History repeating itself - Kristensen last year... or maybe I just have no trust in anyone

Kristiansen left because of Enzo's system as opposed to not wanting to play in this league.ย

Can't wait for it tbf, be some right good aways and hopefully a couple of new grounds.

Yep. Last season was the most I've enjoyed following us since long before covid.ย

ย

The premier league lost its appeal to me a long time ago. Sterile, corporate, played in the board rooms and VAR suites, not on the pitch. We might be shite but it will feel more like football again.ย

will we ever be back

Depends what you mean by โ€œbackโ€

ย

Do I think weโ€™ll win a cup again? Probably not.

ย

But do I think weโ€™ll get European football again? Yes - 100%.

Ipswich and Southampton will be in better positions than us. Plus 2 of Sheffield United, Burnley and Sunderland (assuming Leeds are going up).ย
ย

It will be a long shot for us to get autos, playoffs will be the aim.ย

Remember the years spent in the championship by F**est and the mess De**y are in .... well that is where we are heading for .... what annoys me is winning the league and Cup... playing in Europe all that was wasted ... when stronger foundations should have been laid for the futureย
