So as the transfer window concludes and the level of blithering incompetency from Rudkin and KPFC reaches new level. It's pretty much nailed on we will be relegated this year as the squad is not good enough. Wolves should pull away in the coming weeks. Every team is strengthened, no not us. How dare KPFC trot out shit like 'Foxes Never Quit' this is utter surrender and sink without trace. I think this season is done, it's not even worth worrying about as clearly the pathetic losers at the club don't want to even try to stay up. 

 

What's needs to happen for next season, how will we do and will we ever be back?

When we go down we will be there for a few years as out team is so crap and won’t get us back up. No money, poor management

We’ll be favourites to win the league next season if we go down and will have a decent chance of coming straight back up.

Get rid of every player and start again, but it won't happen, any one half decent will go but we'll just be left with the bulk of dead wood, we are basically stuck with :(

Depends how much the EFL screw us, who's managing and what players we have.

 

Let's not pretend or delude ourselves that this is an IF its very much a WHEN, there is no way bar someone getting points deducted that this squad finishes above Wolves. I'd even go as far as to say we will not win another game and finish below Southampton, it's rotted.

Honestly at the point now of thinking we need a cleansing. It's going to take more pain to get there.

 

Strap in for a few years of rotting in the lower leagues - possibly even lower than the Championship for a while.

Seems like it'll be a few years into the abyss starting next season. 

 

Be shocked if we somehow get promoted considering the players we'll lose and lack of money. 

 

The great big reset might happen in the Championship but it seems like it'll take forever to get competitive in the PL again. And at least not under this 'leadership'. 

 

So much needs to change it's just bordering on ridiculous now. 

 

The very, very faint silver lining (if it is that) is that such a horrific transfer window after 8 defeats in 9 and RVN being pretty much lied to will strongly highlight how bad the club ownership has got. Hopefully you'll see a lot more journos and pundits really shine a light on how the club is being/has been run into the ground. 

 

It's probably going to be a few years of being in the doldrums and being mid-table mediocrity in the Championship before we can start to be progressive and build a solid foundation to compete seriously as a club again. 

 

What a depressing time to be supporting us. Not a decade passes since the PL title win, and of course much less since the FA Cup win. Two relegation in 3 years. The golden era is well and truly over.

New RB (coulibaly will leave on loan refusing to play in the Championship)

Vestegaard (I just can't see anyone coming in for him)

Don't think I want us to come back up. I know this sounds a bit 'give it Jewlleh' but I'd rather we brought in a young British manager (Robins would be nice), brought through some players like Alves and Nelson, and had a couple of seasons fighting for the playoffs and maybe a half decent cup run. Might weed out some of the happy clappers and reestablish a connection between players and fans.

 

Problem is we have a load of shit **** players we can't shift.

Every year I think it's harder to stay in the Prem, PSR is making it a closed shop. It's highly likely next year it will be the 3 promoted teams again as none of them are as strong as we were last year.

Yep. Last season was the most I've enjoyed following us since long before covid. 

 

The premier league lost its appeal to me a long time ago. Sterile, corporate, played in the board rooms and VAR suites, not on the pitch. We might be shite but it will feel more like football again.

Ipswich and Southampton will be in better positions than us. Plus 2 of Sheffield United, Burnley and Sunderland (assuming Leeds are going up). 
 

It will be a long shot for us to get autos, playoffs will be the aim.

Remember the years spent in the championship by F**est and the mess De**y are in .... well that is where we are heading for .... what annoys me is winning the league and Cup... playing in Europe all that was wasted ... when stronger foundations should have been laid for the future
