Signed with Bursaspor 2 weeks ago.

Kelechi going to the home of the kebab seems a match made in heaven.

Get Jamie Allan in from Coventry!!! We desperately need a work horse with a bit of quality in the middle of the park that will give everything for the badge!

Adebayo I like, but it's a massive gamble fitness wise.

Healey played for Martin. But is currently injured.

Has Dykes signed for anyone? 🥺

Millwall, yesterday

Sam Morsy for the Ipswich hat-trick??? 🤔

Well having had the joy of watching his energy in the Bristol City midfield at times last season I really look forward to that prospect...

Good attitude ✔️

League one experience ✔️

knows Burnsy & Chappers ✔️

Over 30 ✔️

Wouldn’t have signed for less than 4 years ✔️

Welcome Morsy

Think he signed for Bristol City a few weeks back

He didn’t,  but that wouldn’t stop us swooping in a month after he signed a new deal and snapping him up on a long term contract

My bad I was duped by an old article I think

Roll the dice on Elijah Adebayo, he's had injury issues but that should help drive down the cost of his wages. Offer him a low wage with good bonuses for games played and goals scored. Him and the Bosnian lad will give us some physicality and aerial presence up top.

Exactly, whether it's Adebayo or whoever, maybe someone not even proven at lower level, we just need to take a gamble on someone to give us choices throughout the season.

For every Akinbiyi or Ayew out there, there is also a Jamie Vardy or Matty Fryatt, we might strike lucky, but you can't strike lucky with nobody.

Adebayo with  2 serious injuries seems too great a risk surely other options will emerge over the next fortnight. But yes we need 2 centre forwards not more utility second strikers or wingers filling in which has been the pattern of late

Still over 3 weeks to go in the window, opportunities will arise as players and clubs have to make decisions. Many right now will still be waiting to see what options are on the table.

At this level Elijah Adebayo should clean up. Fitness issue obviously a concern which is why he's not got a contract yet. Good time to offer him a small 1 year deal that's loaded up with bonuses and incentives with a second and third year options. Basically prove you've still got it and the bonuses will give you a decent salary and a second then possibly third year. You can't stay fit then it's 12 months on a lowish wage.

He's 28 so as long as he's rehabbed properly he should have a few years left in the tank. Callum Wilson did the cruciates in both knees in alternate seasons before becoming and England international so players can bounce back.

Pay as you play deal

Maybe Adebayo has been approached with a 1 year deal & doesn’t want to take it. Probably in his interest to wait & see whether his options improve over the next 3 weeks or so.

Was this meant for another clubs forum? What is a “1 year deal”?

Probably wants some financial security if he can get it.
