In his defense he was expecting to be able to bring in players in January, he said needed them, he said that the players are not good enough, so he basically been let down on all fronts, he been sold a lie to come to this club.

On that basis would you be bothered, he probably hopes the club do sack him so he get a pay off and escape this nightmare 😂 😂 🤣

I do wonder what he was promised.

He wouldn't come here with no transfer funds or even if the board said we'll sell players and you can use that money because you don't know if players would sell.

I personally would still give him a season in the championship. Ship some out, bring his own players in and own staff.

Lost me after picking Ward against Wolves. Never entirely recovered it even if I do think he's been stitched up.

Stitched up or not though, you can see quality in the worst situations. You only have to look at someone like Danny Rohl. What he's served up is what I fear would happen if I got the job.

Totally out of his depth and has possibly killed his managerial career before it's even really gotten going. Will likely be a pundit for the World Cup.

Rejected for the Birmingham job last summer says it all.

Rudkin and Top were sold on his "aura" apparently. You can't run a football club on vibes anymore, it's 2025. Hand the reins over and get someone to do it properly.

He'll do well somewhere, But clear it isn't gonna work out here and his heart isn't in it. The board won't back him and he hasn't got the acumen to make the best of what we've got. Was the wrong appointment in hindsight but too late to turn this ship around now. Reset in the summer for the Championship

I genuinely believe Cooper would have us more points than Ruud

Can we please stop this debate. Cooper was a poor manager, RVN is also a poor manager, why care who would have got more points, this discussion is like the players passing it around at the back, it's going nowhere.

We need to look forward and on.

To be honest in a way I can only have so much sympathy. He'll be well paid for this. I think his name alone will probably save his career (contradicting what I just said), he was given not one, but two first hand glimpses into the shite he would be working with, and if he'd done his due diligence he would know that we have the worst board in England that have lied to three managers in a row before him (now four, obviously). If I as an armchair amateur can see it, I'm amazed he can't.

He's stealing a wage, same as the players are.

But there won't be a queue of quality candidates to replace him, given it's nailed-on they'd be stitched up by the "captain" and his cohorts on the pitch and by Rudkin and Whelan off it.

We're reaching the stage where giving Andy King the gig for the rest of the season may be the only option available to the powers-that-be. 😟

Barwell FC?

He's walked away from one club because he was crap and he knew it and for God knows what reason, our club appointed him.

Didn't work out for Rooney either.

I can take us being crap and not good enough.

I can't accept us being passive and not having a go.

I seen L1 and L2 teams put in more effort in the FA Cup against PL teams.

This, but even more it's a lack of attempting to try any type of different plan, the lack of making subs at half time, and general apathetic look from the touchline. He's dialing it in big time.

When the going gets tough, the tough get going. Ruud doesn't have that in him.

You may be right but you have to admit we didn't deserve a single one of those points we accumulated under Cooper. The underlying numbers suggested the form was always going to fall off a cliff

Yep didn’t deserve a single point

oh look there is a dubious off side goal after 10 minutes deliberation and 92nd minute palace equaliser

Under Ruud do we seriously get another point all season heck at this rate another goal? Tactically inept and his post match chat tonight gives me no confidence. It’s not got better for the last few games either, in some ways I wish we’d have one of those Wrexham style documentaries just to see what on Earth he is coaching them?

He's worse than Rodgers when he wanted the pay off - actually - he's probably not, because Rodgers had a decent side and ****ed us anyway. But he's pretty bad. Yeah, no, he's not worse than Rodgers (in his last season). That's the best thing I can say about him.

RvN is clearly miles worse than Cooper. When you look at all of the stats it isn’t even close. But yes, we need to move on but to who? Dyche? Would he even want the job?

How on earth is he still manager? Yes, the players are no where near good enough, but neither is a manager getting 7 points in 14 games, scoring 9 and conceding 34. Should’ve been gone weeks ago.

We won't pay to get rid. It's ****ing tragic.
