Found out last night my seat is going to be safe standing. I have had no contact from the club to inform about this. At last 2 other people said the same. Apparently an email was sent.i never received one, checked my Spam as well. Just wondered how many rows down in the kop it affects. I can see it goes down to somewhere near the singing section in SK1.  I'm in SK2

Also just wondered  how effective asking the people in front to sit down would be.

Recommend that you contact the club tomorrow (renewal deadline) & check

a) As the club need to know if you weren’t informed and are affected (please contact the Trust if that was the case)

b) So you can register you want to move out if you don’t want to stand

As the transferring in & out of safe standing process starts after the renewal deadline

Seeing the delays that happen for every match where people are using mobile tickets ... the delays for next season are going to be something else.

Bear in mind the club are now forcing near on 10,000 to use a method they don't want to use, and are the ones who are probably less tech savvie than others.

There needs to be plenty of Comms reminding everyone to download onto their wallet before getting to the ground

That was the main issue at the Cup game

They're pushing it hard today aren't they.

Hopefully someone internally leaks the renewal rate so we can have a good laugh.

Thinking about it ... that's something we don't seem to get much of.     When did we last get a proper "leak" from someone at the Club?   I suppose they're all robotic jobsworths.

Years ago, I used to have a m8 that worked down the City, and he used to come out with interesting stuff.    That was all long before unsocial media, mind, so there was no one to pass the juicy details on to!

I've already seen a rumoured number of non renewals lol

Ok so had an email from the club yesterday evening saying my seat is due to be converted & relocation window now open - first time they have advised as such...

They have been pretty clear what areas are being converted

Well emailing me to say my seat is being converted when its not been mentioned before and my seat is outside of the areas identified would suggest otherwise

So if someone is in a now standing area- can they email the club to relocate from today?

Where is your seat?

I'm hoping to relocate our seats, not from/to a standing section but another seated area. Do they charge for this?

I think the only charge relates to the overall pricing of the stand

G1 - a few rows in front of those identified on the website; 'SK1 (from V26) and G1 (from V29) – Rows P to PP (25 rows) – 1,328 seats''

So the club has given incorrect info out.  Imagine my surprise

I'm the same found out at the Newcastle game. The email today was first contact from the club.

Poor  communication once again

Yep, priority window to take your pick of all the other seats available after the renewals period closed. Should be plenty to choose from

I tried to search for uptake updates and the only one I found was a '15,000 in one week' headline... From the summer after the title win. The club are clearly using a bit of SEO slime to push that to the top of google results. Someone might Google it and glance the headline without realising it's a 9 year old article, and jump to renew. :dunno:

Well either the email went to people in error, or the rows listed on the website are wrong.

I mean it doesn't seem that hard to notify a certain bunch of ST holders...

Its ok though - they've suggested in the email to ring or email to sort - I've rung and they're too busy to put me in a queue so just cuts off and I've emailed and got an autoreply saying they'll get back to me within 2 working days... :appl:

They already do, a family member who is a member gets 4 emails and 2 text messages before every single game they have brought a ticket for
