So has anybody ever been kicked out of a ground ?

Happened to me in the early 90s at the Baseball Ground . Me and and a few mates went to watch the citeeh against the sheep shaggers, for away fans it was an all ticket match . As you can probably guess we had no tickets so tried to get in the popular side of the ground with the home fans, only to be turned away as we couldn't prove we were Derby . So we walked around the ground , purchased a hat and scarf and the same boke on the turnstile let us in !.... So once in we made our way right down the front and i said if we score ffs dont cheer !... 5 mins in we get a freekick, walshy heads it across the box and Fitzpatrick puts it past shilton !

Yup of course we went mad and so did about another 200 or so leicester fans, it all kicked off big time , punches thrown, head butts given by the home supporters ( got a few digs back in to be fair ) before we were dragged out by the rozzers and matched down the side of the pitch, towards the Leicester fans behind the goal to a chorus of " we're proud of you " lol . Got kicked out the ground and was loads of us just milling about.

Some bloke who also got kicked , opened his trench coat to display a samurai sword i kid you not ! Not sure what happened to him but he was after blood with a few others.

Anybody else there that day ? We won 2-1 with walshy getting the winner

FM - I was one of the 200. I was at the front next to the Leicester fans. We said we’d keep quiet but as you say we scored early and my mate went up, cooper thought I was Derby until I produced my Leicester beanie hat. Marched round behind the goal by a police woman and got a hero’s reception from the Leicester fans who I gave a raised fist to. Ridiculous really but it felt great. Kicked out after thinking I was going to be nicked. Got into a Derby pub with about 50/70 of us and celebrated our 2nd goal in there.  Got back into the ground to see us win 2-1 and give some abuse to the Derby. Remember more Leicester coming out of their pop side at the end too. The atmosphere was electric

I was refused entry at Bournemouth, bank holiday Monday 1988. I may be one year out.

down for the weekend and had some dealings with the local coppers Sunday night. Just a few words of encouragement to get back to my hotel whilst some of the more brazen. Of the City faithful were running amok in town.

Anyway 10 pints Monday lunchtime rendered me totally pissed and 2 out of the 5 of us were not let in the away end. So we tried the home end and one of the coppers recognised us from the previous night. We would be arrested if we didn't leave the area immediately so we went to the nearest off-licence (this was the eighties!) and listened to the game on the radio in Dean Park. We win 3-2. Cracking weekend .

I actually got a police escort around the pitch to the away section at Cardiff, Ninian Park. Night match, got there late with players warming up and crowd already inside. A copper told us where the away fans were and being unfamiliar with the ground went in via a home turnstile. Dawned on me when I saw a skin head with a bluebird tattoo on his neck and heard the phlegm'ish accents. Decided it was best to stay undercover but couldn't  trust my old man to keep his gob shut. We walked down the front and motioned to, hopefully, a friendly steward. They didn't waste time getting us out for our own safety given how rough it was in those days (late 70's). We got an ovation from the away section by the time we got around there lol

At an England home game about 15 years ago. Persistent standing in a block that had been self designated by England fans members as a standing block to try and generate some atmosphere.

Nobody behind me for 10 rows or so, so refused to sit and they kicked me out.

On the other hand, I did jump the turnstiles to get into the Everton trophy lift game

I remember bouncing up and down on that temporary stand thinking I’m going to go through this bloody thing

That was it, showsec goons grabbed a load of us for it and cobed us out. Plenty of Leicester trudging back to the Manchester on the front.

That’s the sort of ‘match day experience’ we want

I was in the popside at Derby think it was in the 70's though and a lot of us got kicked out that day as well.

The Baseball Ground many years ago. Weirdly a sold out away end but pay on the gate in the home ends!

If I remember rightly it was quite a cold and misty day and was quite a hairy walk back to the train station.

Got back to Leicester just in time to look in the window of a TV showroom to see the final scores coming in and that City had won 2 1. Think Walshy might have got the winner.

I think I was lucky - definitely a walk on the wild side. I remember being swirled round to a chorus of Derby Aggro which seemed really weird as I was used to Leicester Aggro Allo Allo

I was talking to some bloke just before the game about how I thought Ted Mcthingy (I couldn't remember his name which may have been a giveaway) was a good player and the next minute he's trying to punch me in the ear.

My mate was a bit tasty and laid in to about 3 or 4 of them - Not glorifying it and we'd not gone looking for trouble we just couldn't get tickets as we'd both moved away.

That's exactly what it felt like - I'm a bit embarrassed looking back now but it was circumstances - We'd been terrible for years and you could sense something was happening and I was desperate to go to the game.

I remember being escorted round behind Shilton's goal and giving him some verbals too about Worthington Shags your misses - It was a huge buzz to get the reception off of the away end though but not something I was ever going to look to openly repeat.
