Funny that the efl have no interest in what Leeds are spending

Thats because they bothered us due to them lobbying, they not lobbying themselves.

Also spending limits includes salary, and we cant manage salaries well.

From a tax perspective is makes more sense for the club to pay the agent directly than for the player to pay out of their after tax income.

But as @HankMarvinsays, the crazy thing is that it's still Clubs that are paying the Agents.   It should still be the players who pay the Agents, as they are working for them ... whether that's a tax efficient method or not is irrelevant.  Clubs have got themselves into a bizarre situation of paying people who are effectively working against them, and for someone else.

(it's like a house buyer paying an estate agent who's trying to get as much money for the house seller!)

I don’t doubt that we deserved scrutiny. But the issues with the efl has always been that they pick and chose what to pursue and how to pursue it.

Asking us to submit a business plan because they suspected we might be spending too much,  its absolute nonsense from power hungry cretins.

I’m curious to see how last seasons court case effects things because they are itching to throw the book at us.  How dare an efl regular win the premier league, fa cup and challenge for Europe… the hate we get is bizarre.

Spending on agent fees is good if we're recruiting the right sort of player and it makes the difference in landing them.

Instead we're spending on the money on shit players and their agents are pulling the wool over Rudkin's eyes. Rudkin is like a 5x bad value multiplier. Inflated fees > inflated wages > pay half their wage whilst on loan > new deal > leave on a free

They are leeches on the game and should be outlawed by the new regulator.

The FA or leagues are never going to do it.

At the end of the day, It's ordinary Fans who pay for it. While this small few get rich at Fans expence.

A good bit of transparent intel into how we work.

The two most unwanted players we signed in the summer have a horrid pattern to them of agents names reappearing.

Okoli and Edouard same agent. While Skipp has the same agent as Cooper and all his staff.

Although looks like John Morris is back in the good books - He's BBM's agent

There's some patterns regards us which isn't pretty. The two most unwanted players sharing agents with others signed.

The players and the clubs are paying massive amounts for something (contract negotiation)  that the PFA will do for a relatively small fee.

I can tell you that if I was buying a house for $10M and the seller told me I could either pay $10M or pay $8M to them and $1M to their estate agent directly I would take the $1M saving any day of the week.

But it's not a £10M house is it?   It's an £8M house, and you're being done for £1M.

Anyway, the Football Agent's system is still bizarre.

At least this way you can see you are being done for $1m, if the player or selling club was paying them you would never know if you paid $5M for the player and the same for the agent or not.

Look at the state of this.

We need to get rid of every player on this list ASAP!

How bad is that thou.

Honestly getting rid of every single one of those makes us better.

Vardy has to go for the benefit of the club. The only one I wouldnt want to leave is Ricky P but he is unpredictable with injuries

Not good reading.

Although if those are this year, and we expect them to be reduced by a decent level, Souttar and possible Skipp would be fine to keep as they both contribute well next season and importantly, don’t seem to be bad eggs like some of the others on that list.

The rest are one of or a combination of:

- Too much even with reductions (Vardy/Ricardo)

- Not going to contribute what they are being paid (Daka/Ndidi)

- Poor mentality/characters (Ward, Faes, Vestergaard, Coady, Winks, Soumare)

- Pointless (Edouard)
