Grealish has created more chances than any other player, he is a playmaker not to just utilise on the wing. Great player. To be honest he would have been great in that de bruyne role at Man City lol

Said it last year Man City stunted his growth said he should go back Villa but Everton is a similar level and he is flourishing.

Forest surely get a slapping here, it's all Newcastle. Also Sels is such a camera saving keeper isn't he

Sels will go somewhere else in the January window

He's saved them so many points. As soon as he goes they will go down

Saw a pic of the Greek Gangster with Benitez which seems like his sort of guy.

It’s just been pointed out to me that if we’d put one of you lot, or a Derby fan, in charge of Forest for 2 weeks from late August and said ‘do your worst’, you’d have likely sacked Nuno and appointed Ange instead.

Absolute implosion which we all saw coming as soon as Ange was mooted.  Like I said 3-4 weeks again, it’s absolutely plausible we get relegated.

Do you think Stelios will pull the trigger?

Your season is still easily salvageable if he did so this montg

After that it becomes less about saving your season and more about saving your PL status

On balance yes, I think Ange will be sacked before our next game.  The atmosphere on 18th October will be toxic if he doesn’t.  It’s not tenable.

But Marinakis has a big problem, as the ludicrous decisions to oust Nuno and - even worse - appoint Ange have really put his judgement into doubt.  I accept you’ll say he’s done lots of strange things before, but he’s generally got the big calls right, with most managers being a steady improvement on the previous one.

The Ange appointment was seemingly made with no due process or serious assessment of his capabilities.  It’s a catastrophic misjudgment, and 99pc of us said this from the start.

I think saving our PL status is where we already are.

It’s not a good look for any club to be on a third manger by October though. You will be a laughing stock for other supporters. You will probably be shielded from criticism by the media as for some reason, Forest are media darlings.

We have been in the position where our board have hung on to a manager, seemingly for fear of backlash (after when it happened with Ranieri) and we ended up going down from keeping Rodgers long.

Anyway, Russel Martin is now free lol. Or bring Stevie Cooper back

We’re already a laughing stock for appointing him, but I agree 3 managers is farcical.  Has to be done now though.

The Sky presenters have been saying we’re fickle but we’ve been absolutely consistent.  We didn’t want Nuno to go. When Ange was mentioned we said ‘don’t you dare’.  When he was appointed we said ‘you shouldn’t have done that’.  And now we’re saying ‘get him out’.

hell sack Ange today/tomorrow and announce Benitez at start of int break..... I saw big ange coming and I can see benitez coming as well a few of the forest fans in the boozer yesterday said Benitez has been seen with Jabba, if he brings in martn you may as well get used to playing us again in the championship!

To be fair, our fan base was similarly against the appointment of Cooper from the outset but it don’t stop your lot chiming in

I think you have to trust a fan base to know more about their own team than the media/other fans do. Like when we sacked Ranieri. Nobody wanted it to have to happen but we could see where we were going. Player signings as well, fans often know.

The season we went down to League 1, we had 3 permanent managers with two caretakers between and it didn’t help us as we were just a mess.

It will be interesting to see how it unfolds anyway.

Where I have some sympathy with Ange is that Forest were shite under Nuno for a prolonged period.

They finished last season with 2 wins in 8 or 8 points from 24. Expanded that out to this season it was 3 in 11 under Nuno. 12 points from a possible 33.

The rot has been in for a while.

Marinakis' issue isn't managerial necessarily. It's that he's picked a DoF who has a very shady relationship with one particular agent. Therefore expect a constant theme of manager gets annoyed with DoF / owner.

Yes, some truth in that albeit removing him after strengthening the squad and a OKish start to the season was premature at best.  Most of all, there’s simply no excuse for recruiting Ange.  He was never going to be anything other than a massive downgrade on Nuno.

Would genuinely go for Sean Dyche.  Only priority is to stay up.  That won’t happen with Ange, and a coach from abroad is too risky with what’s at stake.

This is like music to my ears. Last season they had a thread on their forum about their title charge.

You're heading down the same road as we've been on, only much faster and without any actual success or anything to show for it

The positive for you is that the league is only 7 games in so it's all recoverable under a new manager. The issue would be sticking with him for too long and leaving it too late like we did.

Difference is half of our fanbase still rated Rodgers. No reason to stick with Ange whatsoever

Taking away the anti-Forest stuff and the funny side of it, it is pretty ridiculous that a manager could be sacked after 7 games lol

Obviously it's different because the previous manager was popular and his sacking was unwarranted.

Anyone remember Palace's start last season? Should have sacked Glasner.

True. But there's also enough evidence of Ange to suggest this ain't gonna get any better. He finished 17th with a much better squad imo

Isn't it just lovely viewing? We can thank Buonanotte for starting the decline! Then that idiot storming on the pitch berating Nuno what an idiot but funny too lol their decline is faster but also will be a million times worse than ours. Who in their right mind is gonna sign Gibbs White he's terrible and on what 160k a week? No one will take a punt on that surely. Failing PSR and points deduction for them lovely. Can see him wanting off in the summer if they go down so he can be back focused on Olympiacos.
