When he jumped up and out of the way of Bournemouth's winner in 22/23

The classic "make the target as big as possible" routine. he nailed it.

Shout out to Faes marking thin air as well.

The amount of people who were happy with Kasper going and Ward being our number 1 going into that 22/23 season should not be forgotten, it was not a controversial move at the time. Last game of the season prior v Watford he was class

Everything was straight at him in that Watford match….

And it was against Watford.

I don't remember Danny Ward actually making any absolutely horrendous blunders ... like punching the ball into his own net.

He just never seemed to save anything.    Which as a goalkeeper, is obviously a big problem.

It’s hard to make a blunder when you can’t get anywhere near the ball.

I can remember Kasper making a few horrible errors but I can also counteract that with 10s of genuinely world class saves.

With Ward you can’t remember any blunders but you can’t actually think of any saves either, it was like playing with a wheely bin in net

The only save I remember Ward making ... was a couple of years ago, away to Southampton, when he saved a penalty.

It temporarily kept it to 0-0, but then a few minutes later Southampton scored anyway, and we lost 1-0

Will never ever forget that Brighton away performance. It was totally bizarre, making absolutely no effort to save any of the shots especially the 1v1s, his positioning was so so bad it basically left an open goal for them to shoot at. That game wasn’t him just playing shit, it was genuinely odd.

One of his many problems is that he's frightened of the ball OR more exactly being hit by the ball

The fact he'd got the audacity to have a pop at Wilf for his own **** up as well caused me incandescent rage at the time

Yeah, he literally jumps out the way. Never ever seen a keeper like it. It was almost like match fixing.

Yes that's exactly what it felt like.

There again he had a few performances like that

If there was one single reason we're the shite situation we are forget Rudkin it's Ward

P.S I'm not saying Rudkin's any good btw and he should have been given his P45 3 years ago +

Cheers Danny. Thanks for everything.

Thanks for absolutely nothing.

You've been a huge contributory factor in the clubs demise

picked up a kings ransom whilst being a complete shambles  .......... words fail me or would be extremely harsh

There’s a lot of horrendous moments but I remember Fulham at home when mitro scored and he literally jumped on the spot not making himself any bigger. Honestly there must have been something bigger going on with him because it was beyond shit.

Can't really blame him we should never have signed him or let Kasper go.

Of course you can blame him.  He was totally incompetent.

So if you hire a plumber who can't plumb the fault is on the plumber or the person that hired him ?

Only it's like getting a fairly decent rated plumber on checkatrade and finding out he has no hands now.

Yes I’d be interested if it comes out - there has to be some reason as to why he was so shit

The plumber obvs.  False advertising. If you hire a plumber who doesn't know his ball cocks from his u bends, then you have been duped.

Even if your plumber was an actual plumber who had been to plumbing school and got all his plumbing qualifications, yet when he went to fix your boiler, he was negligent and accidentally got you relegated instead, that would be the plumbers fault too.
