The 6-2 at Tottenham stands out in my mind, but he really was one of the most consistent players I've ever seen at the club.

My favourite moment was when in a state of delusion I thought he could ‘do a job’ and should be given a chance when Kasper left, mostly based on appearances against lower league teams in the cup and games for Wales against mostly inferior teams.

A disgrace to the club and the profession. Genuinely wouldn't want him at a League 2 club on minimum wage. I'm embarrassed at how angry he makes me.

As others have said you can’t blame Danny Ward as much as the people who signed him and Brendan for playing him for so long.

 

I can’t remember being as angry about a player selection though when he played for us THIS season. It was scandalous that he was back on the bench let alone in the starting line up.

Edit: He didn't. Was a classic Shinji bobbler, though. Ward at least dived and looked the correct way.

I'm sure the lad tried, it's just that he's not a natural goal keeper.

 

I've given the l lad a lot of grief like everyone but...It's not his fault that we, or rather the hierarchy fcked up allowing Kasper to leave last minute and not having an adequate replacement. 

Equally,  it's not his fault he got picked every week, despite being sh1te.
