All seriousness, why would you chose Wilder and O'Neil over Marti? How would they suit our current squad?

It’s not just about being the gaffer is it the whole club needs sorting out and some people/players need putting in there place. The older managers will sort these issues and they’ve been there before, bags of experience as well. O’Neal has managed in the prem and I think he was harshly treated deserves another chance imo.

Harshly treated in what sense? The guy stood in front of TV cameras and said "i don't know what to do, I've tried everything."

You speak about someone coming in and putting people in their place yet suggest O'Neil who admitted he lost the dressing room and had players scrapping each other on the pitch...

Plus... you do realise that Cifuentes has a reputation for going up against his board at more than one club he's been at? He's not a "yes man" but  Dyche who is actual freinds with Rudkin will be better?

O’Neil may be a nice guy and even a decent coach, but he’s shown he does not have the authority to manage a football club. Two lost dressing rooms in the space of a couple of years tells its own story.

He has! Then moved on to a higher level. Then moved on to a higher level and so on. Achieving what was set to achieve at each club without massively OVER- achieving.  Exactly what you would expect from a young coach. The only difference is, this young coach has almost 400 games under his belt. 

 

That's what I like about this appointment, he is one of the only managers linked who is on the way UP. His career is going forwards, not backwards.
