You'll have to wait and see, Ryan.

But we've spent the last few days working on this and, should it be confirmed by the club, know how we'll respond.

The Trust is, and has always been, completely opposed to a gambling sponsor on the front of the shirt.

It's lovely seeing you a little feisty after last years "we aren't a protest group" club sympathisers behaviour.

As discussed 12 months ago I would still love to see a complete KP wide boycott to hit them where it hurts. A zero spend at the club would be huge news, a massive shift in fan behaviour. Those at the trust not wanting to rock the boat back then (and before then for years I'm guessing) and now seeing the likelihood of another terrible / corrupt(?) sponsor must be pretty chuffed with their lack of efforts!!

Stopping / encouraging fans not to go into the fan store at all would be a big statement and more than just another Arthur style clenched fist.

As always, good luck with whatever it is, if it's needed of course.

Do you know how long the last sponsor was contracted for? I am wondering if it is the same company rebranded? Hard to see how a new gambling company could have offered up the money to sponsor as it will be in the millions.

We had a two year contract. There’s a lot more to it than just a rebadging sadly, can’t say exactly on here. I think it will all come out this time though, there’s journalists who are desperate to unearth this!

I did home and away in the Wallace Pleat era when clubs would not have survived without match going fans. No I don't go to many games now location and ridiculous ticket prices are part of it. Work for both of us makes it very hard to plan trips up to Leicester unless we book it as holidays.

BUT Your comments make it sound like I'm/We are not allowed to voice our opinions on how the clubs run.

Climb out of your season ticket arse. You would not have a club to support if it was not for people like us in the past.

That qualifies me and many more like me to voice an opinion.

As previously said get your head out of your self appointed arse.

I wasn’t the one claiming the 3400 was 15% of those attending.

I pointed out that many of those who voice their opinions on here don’t attend matches.

I have no problem with that, people support their team however they find best suits them.

What I was trying to point out was I felt it was incorrect to assume that the 3400 could be assumed to represent the majority of fans.

If people felt as strongly as they do about on here about the shirt sponsor then surely they would have made their opinion known in a survey that was readily available to all.

As they didn’t express an opinion I’d have thought it was best to assume that they aren’t actually that bothered about the sponsor.

Has there been a huge drop off on shirt sales?

If numbers have dropped I’d have thought it more likely to be down to the price and the cost of living crisis many are facing.

Apologies, I most definitely didn’t mean to give the idea that season ticket holders were ‘better fans’ and that their opinion was more valid than others.

And I'll apologise to you. I normally enjoy your post and agree with them.

But that post pushed my buttons.

But I will say that 15% ain't a bad showing imo. This place runs with about 100 regular posters and probably 300 occasional posters. Not sure where else the survey was advertised so we don't know if it's a good percentage or not.

But I do know a few match going fans that only really care about us on match days. They don't let the club rule day to day life like some do. I also know a lot of people that would not go near an Internet survey if you paid them as they don't trust how the info will be used.

So no it's not a huge number but imo it's a fair reflection of how people think.

Just a very different viewpoint and thinking out the box but I genuinely do wonder why the club haven’t considered approaching Kasabian for the front of shirt partner. The band don’t pay a penny but the commercial benefits would be astronomical, shirt sales would literally go through the roof, as part of the deal the band do 3 to 5 gigs at the stadium with profits split between the club and band.

The social media and profile of Kasabian would be huge, a band from Leicester and no negative publicity associated to betting or any other issues, it really would be massive for the club.

Stop thinking outside the box, man. It's not the Leicester way!!

I may have dreamt this but I'm sure I read years ago that the KP can't host concerts. Something to do with the concrete in the stands. It's not strong enough or summat.

As I say, this might not be correct.

Haven’t Kasabian already played at the KP if I recall correctly there is a restriction on capacity

We had Kasabian there a few years ago.

I remember them announcing a 'festival' there in 2005 (featuring Status Quo lol) which later got cancelled, can't remember why but probably low sales.

Found this. What a line-up. lol

There does seem to be some truth to your suggestion about the concrete, apparently there were concerns about 'dancing in the stands'. Thankfully not a lot of that recently.

I suspect that wouldn’t earn even a fraction of what these sponsorship deals are generating and in our financial state, that’s not going to be an option.

It’s 15% of the average home crowd so hardly sizeable.

As the other 85% didn’t bother to give an opinion I’d have thought it was safer to assume that they don’t give that much of a toss about who the sponsor is, more likely to worry about what it looks like than what it represents.

Amazed at how a percentage of 15% assume that they speak for all fans.

Did you have to attend games to be involved in the survey?

Looking at match threads there’s a reasonable proportion of whiners who don’t actually attend games so perhaps of that 3214 half may not attend.

People like you actually exist.

The people who don't give a toss were the other 20%. The people who can't be bothered to even reply are part of the problem. Anybody happy with the state this club is in right now are as much of a problem as the management itself.

Foxes Trust re survey.

"We advised the Club that only 449 of the 3,214 participants were Trust members. Supporters completing the survey were not hand-picked. Around 7500 leaflets were given to supporters as they made their way to the final home game of the season, at fan events, and on the coaches to, and displayed inside, the Bournemouth away end. We were able to confidently show the club that this was a survey for all fans and that Trust members represented only around 14% of the sample".

I'm not sure how many on here are Trust Members but I'd suggest the numbers are relative low.

Funny you should mention that because that is what the Ed Sheeran and Ipswich deal essentially is

I thought one of the first things Vichai did once he bought the ground was made the modifications to the ground.

What I don't get is why we never use it. Ffs plymouth had take that last year and a one day festival. Leicester have fvck all.

Its because people like “Karen” who lives on the other bank of the river next to the ground complains about things like a generator running is making to much noise

The midlands in general tends to miss out on the big gigs in general tbf

Most big stadium tours do Cardiff/London/one of Edinburgh or Glasgow and one of Manchester or Liverpool

You get the odd gig at Cov or Villa Park but most miss the midlands

The bulk of that gig were on the floor not the stands. I'm reasonably sure that the dampeners have not been installed under the concrete terraces.

It's been a while but you can feel them bouncing when the fans jump in time to the goal music. That's just a 30 second burst, if it were for longer then the beams could fail.

So make the KP (I hate that) a summer gig venue. Just been to Cardiff for the stereophonics. In 10 days they had oasis, james, stevie wonder and stereophincs.

Why the fvck are we not using our stadium.

Piss poor management with no idea how to sell the venue and make money.

Argyle had two weeks of events last year the re played the pitch.

We do fvck all to earn out of season.

It was at that phonics gig in Cardiff last Saturday. It was excellent. And Cardiff town centre was insane afterwards. It was like a night out in Magaluf!

It's a question for the Trust or FAB to raise with the club. Along with "are you going to end the idea about expansion or put some criteria in place for it proceeding". It's yet another thing shrouded in secrecy.
