Not sure you can compare crisp packets being thrown away to a gambling company with dodgy links, a dodgy website and no obvious licence to operate in the country of the club they sponsor, especially as the club has already been warned about sponsors of a previous nature and recently told 80% of its fans disagreed with having a gambling sponsor on its shirts. Not to mention the embarrassment of players having to play in unsponsored shirts due to their content.

80% of those who bothered to get involved.

How many was it exactly?

For those of us who have arrived at this thread without prior context, what is going on? I mean, I assume it’s to do with a dodgy new shirt sponsor but please help me out.

Read the last 12 pages of meltdowns.

I have read a lot of it, it’s the prior context I don’t have. OP goes in with the name

of a shitty betting co and 12 pages of people whinging follow.

Why on earth did mine and stadts post get deleted? One was him saying the club probably can’t comment and me was suggesting them saying something that said nothing… there was nothing offensive?

Apparently there were 9 teams in the PL who had lower shirt sponsorship deals than us last season.

Apparently we are struggling with PSR.

Id like to see my team destroy the Championship and get promoted because

allegedly we’ll be in financial trouble with loans from an Australian bank if we don’t.

Apparently 80% of those who could be bothered to vote weren’t happy with last seasons sponsor, wonder what percentage of all Leicester fans they made up.

Id prefer it to be Walkers but they won’t pay enough, if going with a dodgy sponsor means we get promoted and pay off loans then I’ll accept that, as I believe will the vast majority of Leicester fans.

Enough clubs are driving a coach and horses through the current regulations, our owners get slated for not bringing in funds and then when they do ………:

It’s a bit shite, but everybody is at it. The sooner better regs come in the better, but until then we have to play the hand we’re dealt.

A shirt leak happened with “KBET” Sponsorship on the front,  it is still to be confirmed by the club what the new sponsor if any will be

an investigation into who “KBET” actually are returns very few results on google

it has been narrowed down to two possibilities although both could be wrong

https://kikabet.com are an almost carbon copy similar site/company to BC.GAME, They have the same Gambling License that BC.GAME which is not valid in the U.K

the other website is https://kbet.asia this is arguably the worst of the two, They don’t have a Gambling License registered anywhere despite their claims on the website, nothing works on the website apart from the help and blog sections which ask questions such as “is KBET a Scam?” & “is KBET legal”

The website was also created only around 8 weeks ago

You'll have to wait and see, Ryan.

But we've spent the last few days working on this and, should it be confirmed by the club, know how we'll respond.

The Trust is, and has always been, completely opposed to a gambling sponsor on the front of the shirt.

Announce the riot 👊

A working version of kbet.asia..... found this as there was a hint in their seo heading about a link to K88

https://k88.pro/

This one was registered in October last year, practically ancient!!

If our shirt does have to say KBet on it, a least it’s marginally more aesthetically tolerable than 974WangBetPlay or whatever like most of the rest of the PL and Championship have.

3214

Thats still a sizeable number of fans and no-one can say it's not representative. As if the other 85% of matchgoing fans would give a radically different answer.

It’s 15% of the average home crowd so hardly sizeable.

As the other 85% didn’t bother to give an opinion I’d have thought it was safer to assume that they don’t give that much of a toss about who the sponsor is, more likely to worry about what it looks like than what it represents.

Amazed at how a percentage of 15% assume that they speak for all fans.

Did you have to attend games to be involved in the survey?

Looking at match threads there’s a reasonable proportion of whiners who don’t actually attend games so perhaps of that 3214 half may not attend.

That's irrelevant, you can still support the club and not go to many or any games. A lot of people can't afford it now, it's not the 1980's anymore. People have been priced out. Does that mean they aren't allowed an opinion?

Who has said this? Can you point out the post or the statement where someone can claimed this?

15% is pretty widely accepted as a good sample size. Besides, the people taking the survey are likely the most engaged fans we have and worth listening too.

I think in the survey results thread that even the club acknowledged it was a good response and their own questionnaires averaged about a thousand replies.

Shambles !

I wont be attending this season I’m not wasting my hard earned money while these 2 clowns drive the club into the ground.

Please just sell up and go so we can enjoy our club again

I did home and away in the Wallace Pleat era when clubs would not have survived without match going fans. No I don't go to many games now location and ridiculous ticket prices are part of it. Work for both of us makes it very hard to plan trips up to Leicester unless we book it as holidays.

BUT Your comments make it sound like I'm/We are not allowed to voice our opinions on how the clubs run.

Climb out of your season ticket arse. You would not have a club to support if it was not for people like us in the past.

That qualifies me and many more like me to voice an opinion.

As previously said get your head out of your self appointed arse.

Be intrigued to know what's going on inside the club since this leaked.

A lot of the stuff on BC Game came out in the mainstream towards the end of the season amongst a sea of shit, it was easy to hide.

This time round they're contending with fans like myself who have been looking into this for almost a year, fans who want absolutely none of this, comments all over X, prominent investigative journalists looking into it before it's been officially announced.

To me it looks like it was rumbled just as they were getting primed to make this whole sham look more legit, for example a working website and social profiles.

I wonder if there's a very small chance they might be having a complete rethink. The kit leak photos were clearly from the kit room, and people in the club shop have seen it, so it really leaves the question why have they still not launched something that was known about throughout the club at all levels since the weekend?

Do you know how long the last sponsor was contracted for? I am wondering if it is the same company rebranded? Hard to see how a new gambling company could have offered up the money to sponsor as it will be in the millions.
