What are the thoughts on what Notts County will be like?

Well the first game at a local club, if it isn't bouncing then it won't bode well for the rest of the season.

“We hate Nottingham”

”Sammy Braybrooke/ W i i i llll Alves/Lou-is Pageee is one of our own”

“Leicester’s gonna win the league with Russel Martin” to the Tuchel/Lowrider tune

Hopefully it'll be hot aswell.

Get on the beers super early, cause some mayhem on the way

Get into them early, get the first goal, then just keep the ball, whilst peppering their goal

Out sing them

Get home without getting nicked

It's not lost on me that we used to gather at Meadow Lane's club bar in recent years before games against Forest, usually resulting in us getting kicked out for, amongst other things, letting off pyros inside.

Might be a bit trickier to do that this time, what with all the Notts County fans that will be there for obvious reasons. :facepalm:It's only right therefore that we give the City Ground's club bar the same treatment before this one. :brendan:

it'll be a decent atmosphere I reckon but if we concede early it'll get very toxic with the hangover from last season - the threat of a toxic atmosphere if we concede early is there for the Burton game and all

I can’t muster up hate for County.

Nor me, plus i used to go and watch notts country sometimes in the very early 90's, a very likeable club.  But i hope we smash 'em.

I'm looking forward to it. Only been to Meadow Lane once before and that was the friendly the other year.

It's first game of the season and it's a local game, everyone should be up for it.

Our early kick off away ends do tend to struggle, derby aside last season. Will probably help that it’s local.

tbf stoke away had a good atmosphere and decent "limbs" and that was an early kick off I think

Could be a season where the larger allocations are good atmospheres but the smaller ones aren't.

I reckon that due to the current away priority system that the smaller allocations will be full of the older fans who are less inclined to be vocal and create and atmosphere if you catch my drift

Was my thinking. 4k at Peterborough or Barnsley would be lively but Bromley and Luton, probably not.

anyone know what Peterborough's away allocation is likely to be for us since that will be in such high demand and very local

Like others have said, first of the season, decent allocation (in comparison with the league) and its nearby.

If it isn't good, then theres no hope for the rest of the season.
