I was in the home end last night, first time I've done that for ages.

Last time was either the 7-1 defeat (in the league cup?) at Hillsborough (that wasn't easy in their kop end pretending to celebrate 7 times, but the opposite end went absolutely crazy when Steve Walsh, I think, got the last minute consolidation goal), or the game at Barnsley when I think Coatsworth scored twice. Whichever one of those games was latest.

Anyway, was in the terrace down the side last night, near the halfway line. Didn't hear the Leicester end once. Didnt hear anything from the 2 little sections behind the goal, but it may have been a little better in the section at the end of the side terrace, different to tell because the sound didn't travel as it was the other side of the Bromley vocal section. Was it as quiet as it seemed?

Quite a good set up there, although could do with putting some asphalt down behind both ends of the stadium. Had to wade through mud and puddles walking round the ground afterwards!

We were in the home end closest to the away and were really disappointed by the lack of singing. Even more disappointed with the 80th minute departures.

Why?  This is how it always is.

These tiny away allocations will obviously be your real high point supporters which I would suggest fall into two categories, either the staunch "back the lads" type, who we know don't actually open their gobs during the 90 at all.

Or the staunch KP outers, who might sing usually but might not given the context of the game in front of them. Either way it's not going to change anytime soon.

It was always going to be a bit of a weird atmosphere last night. There was a real sense of 'what are we doing here' embarrassed that this was a league fixture against a time that were a step below the conference when we won the PL. Three separate stands didn't help either, made it disjointed. An easy win against a team that we should be beating comfortably doesn't often make for a wild atmosphere either.

I think it was more to do with how I was feeling. We’d had a nightmare journey and for the first time in a long time we had something to cheer about. It’s not like traffic getting out of the ground was going to be an issue. Realise I sound incredibly judgmental however like most of us, I’d have snapped your hand off for a ticket in the away end.

Stop making excuses for them. People can open their gobs if they want to. They choose not to. Simple.

Honestly cruising 3-0 up at half time - you'll never get a better chance to be loud and proud. Parituxlarly given the lack of real rivals this season.

I wonder what some of our fans think the circumstances have to be to create a decent atmosphere.

if were losing then no-one's happy so that's why no-one sings.

If it's a close game fans are nervous so that's why no-one sings

If we're winning and the opposition aren't any good that's why no-one sings.

Then if we do sing the song police are out in force.

24 very generous.

Today was 19-21 IMO.

Last week there was a couple thousand empty seats in the North stand alone.

Officially announced on the BBC website as 28,215. I think we can agree that’s complete nonsense

For Leicester fans to generate a decent atmosphere, we really don’t ask for much.

We just need the sun to set at 18:49, the temperature to be 17 degrees Celsius and for the opponent to move the ball one inch outside of the quadrant when taking a corner.
