I’ve stuck a tenner on for us to win it and a tenner on for auto promotion. It’s probably a bit over confident but standard is not particularly high despite it being a ‘competitive’ league.

I think it’s as poor as it’s been for a long time. I think, if you have a decent squad and a plan, you’re likely to win it. If we hit the ground running even with a points deduction we could run away with it, I don’t think it will be as close as previous seasons. Particularly with Leeds and Burnley out of the league this season.

There was a genuinely serious discussion on talksport on Monday night where the consensus was we would be one of the 'struggling' teams this season.

It was completely bizzare. I think our squads good for auto promotion depending on the points l deduction.

On that basis us.

I think it’s an easier league than last time. I don’t see 4 teams completely pulling away like they did last year. 3 or them acquiring points totals which would comfortably win them the league the previous seasons.

I still have us down on paper as one of the strongest. Saints, Ipswich being our strongest competitors.

For some reason, WBA and Stoke as the dark horses.

They claimed Birmingham would win it at a canter again with no actual evidence to back up the claim.

I think it is as simple as we turn up with the right attitude, we should win the thing comfortably, even with a points deduction if it isn’t ridiculous.

I mean, just looking at the squad on paper, it should piss it.

After last night Bristol City. Josh Stokes wasn’t even on the bench for them and he is a quality young attacking midfielder.

Bristol City looked very impressive yesterday, their slick fast attacks are going to cause problems. They are going to be hard to beat

By the sound of those imbecile pundits prior to the Ipswich game then I think Leicester City would fall under the dark horse bracket currently.

But you just know in a few weeks IF we do start really well the same pundits will say well Leicester we’re always going to be favourites with the squad and experience they have blah blah blah yet not a single 1 had us in top 4 and lucky to get top 6.

Did it involve that utter ****stain Jennings? Guy was saying a couple of days ago that the likes of Brighton should never be playing European opposition in anything but a friendly.

I said a while back Bristol had momentum from last season. I'll throw Stoke into that mix too. Robins worked miracles down the M69, could get a tune out of Stoke too.

The challenge for Bristol City will very much be how they adopt to a totally different style of football under Struber (good start yesterday), after Manning's possession obsessed approach.

I reckon they'll end up an entertaining mid table. They'll pump a few teams but will also get pumped by a few teams.

Inconsistent but exciting to watch, which will be a novelty for the Bristol City fans!

The easy picks are Bristol City and Millwall. Both in or near the playoffs last year yet written off as having peaked. To be fair, Millwall get that every year, because they're Millwall. A perverse part of me would love to see them in the Premier League for a season, purely for the carnage when they have to face West Ham. lol

I thought Derby actually looked decent despite their late collapse against Stoke. Carlton Morris is a great acquisition for them, couldn't do much in that freefalling Luton side last year but he knows where the goal is. Don't have much time for the sheep botherers but would prefer them up there than C*v.

Honestly expected Bristol city to collapse after losing manning,  very good opening for them. But they had extra motivation after the playoffs
