Doesn’t matter who the alternatives are, Soumare shouldn’t even be under consideration

I would rather have Hamza there to be honest at least he puts a tackle in.

 

Maybe we could try a different formation instead of 4231 that every manager we have seems insistent on.

At the minute... I'm more for points on the board than performances ... we need to rack up some points for the incoming PSR if required... or if not we can then push on ... We must give Marti our full support regardless of his selection... because Top, Rudkin and the rest of the muppets are unlikely to stand shoulder to shoulder with him

Know what you mean about the formation, I realise 4231 is the "in vogue" formation right now, but come on....

Fact is we're really short on reliable options in the centre of the park.

If Brownhill comes in, then I imagine we see him, Winks and Page rotate. Soumare and Skipp are utterly honking.

No one is disagreeing in terms of needing someone else and that all 3 are pants.

 

BUT as a two Winks should be alongside either Skipp or Hamza.

 

Booby offers very little, he isn’t particularly good on the ball, he’s an average passer at best..he’s slow and has a poor work rate. Hes also not a ball-winner.

 

Skipp and Hamza have high work rates and can win the ball, ideal for playing ALONGSIDE Winks.
