I am asking if you think as supporters we should meekly accept the level of performance served up yesterday?  Is players giving well less than 100% effort not as negative and disgraceful as fans showing their disapproval to such a performance or are you saying the players can do it but the fans cannot react to such a poor performance.

And I'm asking you...do you believe booing, during the game, helps to increase the level of performance?

Abdul seems to suggest it does not, but hey, what does he know!

Prematch, half time and post match, the Directors Box is empty and there’s minimal live tv and radio coverage. How else do you expect the message to get across?!

I doubt the players take much notice of it to be honest. And if they do, maybe there’s a few of them stood there thinking “yeah, he is a tool” because he’s hampering their success by failing to get a decent squad around them.

There are a lot of people who seemingly think he’s a problem but will state you can’t  chant certain chants about him or you have to be selective about when you chant about him. Doesn’t quite add up.

People can chant whatever they wish, as people say are keen to say, they paid hard-earned cash to watch the team etc but I’m saying ….how does it help, during a match, when we are not performing well, for the players to hear such negativity from their own supporters

This debate always comes down to the same thing: on the one hand, fans have every right to be unhappy when players don’t look like they’re trying; on the other hand, booing the team during the game never helps to improve performances - it only makes things worse. The irony is that both the team and the fans want the same thing, and would be much happier if there was unity between them. But when a relationship breaks down like this, it requires one side to do something to change the dynamic for to improve, even if they believe they’re not the ones to blame. If neither side will budge, the misery and toxicity just continues.

You sound like my mate, he's a huge Leicester Tigers fan. The reason I stopped going to the rugby, the knobhead fans who'd cheer at half time if City were losing

If other people having a giggle at the result of the football team you support really enrages you to this extent, I'd suggest you need to get out more.

Wow, you really should go and support someone else with that attitude. Do you also celebrate if our goalie lets in a goal. You must have really liked Ward.

Haha just the satisfaction of being proven right over and over again.

Gotta take the small joys when following this club under the current ownership.

Much prefer it to the option of delusion that a lot take comfort in :D

I have already answered, that the booing is a direct result of seeing players going through the motions, i doubt it does help but what are fans meant to do, I had also said I will accept getting beat as long as I see a level of commitment, work rate and application, very little of this was on show on Saturday, so I will ask yet again, do you think players checking out and not giving 100% as paid professionals is acceptable and if not how do you hold them accountable?

I think this comes from the way the club has gone about getting a manager in and really stuffing up moving players on , and no new players coming in , we have players who could not play in the EPL and can’t preform in the 2nd tier either , I guess the fans our taking there frustration out on these players knowing we will not go back to the EPL this season

happy clappers who wank off to King Power and watch their wives get railed by other men

You know this for a fact or is it supposition and hyperbole to fit your agenda?

We need to protest like Wednesday fans, arrive 5 minutes late or something , and then support the team and every player 100% during the game.

These players are spineless, with so many contracts expiring and if were not careful we'll be in a relegation fight.

Definitely arrive 5 minutes late as leaving 5 minutes early no one will notice any difference (tin hat emoji)

For the vast majority of matches this season, we will have the superior team on paper. However, Saturday's game showed that if the other team's application isn't matched by ourselves, it's more often than not going to end in defeat. This could become a regular theme this season unless certain players leave the club or Marti is able to shift the mentality within the squad.

I genuinely think we will be in a relegation battle this season after that result and performance and seeing what Stoke did to Sheff Weds.

Glad I didn't renew my season ticket!

Thought at the end of last season that without some major changes there would be no way we would be promoted this season.

Hope I'm wrong but at this moment in time I just can't see it.

Said it MANY times last season, double relegation incoming.

Preston could have won by more. They had a very simple strategy of hitting long balls down the flanks, knowing we didn't have the pace at the back to deal with it. But if we give the ball away on the edge of their penalty area (which Winks did twice in the last 10 minutes), that will happen.

It's hard to argue otherwise, based on the first two games we are one of the worst sides in the Championship and the only reason we dont have two losses is that we played Wednesday in one of those games.

The only ray of light is that we have players like Monga, Page, Nelson, Aluko, Alves, Evans to come in a hopefully turn us around.
